Using Apex Funded account, purchased Denali data yet historical data not loading

The market data is spotty and only loads data when I've been logged in. In troubleshooting, deleting and redownloading only began to load data once I re-logged in and doesnt pull the historical data unless I was logged in at that time. Redownloaded current version of Sierra and refreshed my log in information, tried to switch to Sierra all services then retry log in to Rhithmic/Apex account but problem still persists.

The reason you are not getting real-time data from the Denali Data Feed, and historical data from the Denali Data Feed in the case of when using an external Trading service (Rithmic, CQG, Interactive Brokers), from the CME Group of exchanges is that you activated the *Non-Professional* exchange fees. A similar problem is happening to me; I have purchased Denali data package 12 and just opened a live account with Stage 5/ Dorman. I connect to Teton stage 5 account fine. Live and Delayed data. This morning when I tried to trade Apex I couldn't load the charts correctly. TPO wouldn't fully populate etc. Only showed me what printed while i had Sierra opened. I was able to trade but just took a couple, that worked fine. Im sorry if im missing something i am new to the platform but really enjoying using it.

You only have the "CBOT with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" exchange active. So if the chart is for a symbol that is traded on a different exchange, then this would be why you are having this problem, as the data in this case is coming from Rithmic, and they have a lack of historical data. Are you using multiple installations of Sierra Chart? Our servers do not show that this is the case, therefore the statement that "My normal account looks good" has us a bit confused. Can you explain what you mean by this and how you change between accounts? For each installation of Sierra Chart, check the setting for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds" and ensure that this is set to "Yes". If you have to change it from "No" to "Yes", then after you make the change and select OK to close that window, select "File >> Reconnect". For the charts where you had been getting the Rithmic data (i.e. any chart that was not a symbol from the CBOT exchange previously) you will want to select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". This will remove the Rithmic data that you had for that symbol and download the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. This ensures that the data is all from one source and consistent. You only need to delete the data and download once for each symbol, not for each chart. After you do the above, let us know if you are still having an issue. Sorry John, I am just using one instance of Sierra chart. I mean that when I have my real money account with Stage 5 connected to Teton CME routing everything works and loads great. When I attempt to connect to rithmic and trade an apex account my charts don't fully load. I'm only getting a few hours of data, and this morning I was only getting a few minutes. My DOM works fine but anything like a TPO or hourly chart wont fully populate. |

To start with, we recommend using two different installations of Sierra Chart so you are not having to flip back and forth between the settings in order to connect to one account or another. It is up to you in the end, but there are no additional fees or costs, just as long as you install on the same computer (different computers require an additional set of exchange fees). Although we are a bit confused by these times, as it implies that the system was only off for 21.9 seconds. Did you wait a full 5 minutes, or did you restart fairly quickly? Sorry I was trying to get it done before the market closed. I think that "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download for the NQM5.CME symbol?" may have done the trick, will touch back base on monday. Thank again!
