Need live help changing to Teton Data Feed.

Hello,

I have spent countless hours reviewing the Self Help documentation and cannot find the information I need. The options that I have tried are not reflected in the documentation so I am sure the answer is simple and I have missed something.

I am attempting to change to the Teton data feed from CQG so that I can chart trade (simulated or live) using an OCO Simple Bracket Order. I have downloaded SC 2394 and my broker (AMP Futures) is not listed in the Clearing Firms. I see several options and know that AMP is coming in June, but I get no error message and the Robohelp documentation does not match the options I see in my live account.

AMP does not currently support the Teton Order Routing Service. Therefore, you can not use this service with your AMP account.

If you stay with AMP, then you will need to wait for them to support this service. In the meantime, you would need to continue to use CQG for your order routing. Refer to the following for how to connect to your CQG accont:

The one change that you will have to make at this time, however, is that you will need to get your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group and/or EUREX data, as we are no longer accepting CQG data into the system for these exchanges. Hello,

I am very frustrated here. I have loved Sierra for many years, but am fed up with the lack of co-ordination and communication between Sierra and the rest of the trading world (Brokers, Data Feed providers, etc.).

I have attempted to do my best to follow all instructions in the Robohelp files to no avail. I have a receipt for CQG as well as Denali for the current month to renew my data subscription and I still cannot get data or trade live.

I want to trade ES and NQ on the chart with Chart Trading so that I can easily adjust targets and stops and use the DOM for entry. I have read about the Windows 10 need to upgrade the Service Package and the need for changes, but I am at the end of my Sierra rope. I need either a Real person that can talk me through everything to resolve the issue or a simple Step 1, 2, 3 set of instructions without having to sort through pages and pages of information consisting of mainly run-on sentences. I'm trying to be NICE, but you need to understand and make it easier for your customers.

In order to get the data from CQG, you will need to downgrade your software to version 2393. With release 2394 and higher we are no longer allowing data from CQG for the CME Group and EUREX into Sierra Chart. Follow these instructions to downgrade your software:

The charges you show above are for your Sierra Chart Package. You need to be on package 10 or higher in order to make any external connections or get real-time data. Therefore, you need to stay on Package 10, as you are now. But you did not pay for any Denali Exchange Fees.

In that case, you should use our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Do you need Market Depth data or not?

And do you want data for the Entire CME Group, or is it enough to get the ES and NQ as you mentioned above.

Does AMP offer Denali? A Manager told me this morning they have not made a decision on it yet. I only need ES and NQ and use the price ladder for entry and attached orders. I do not look at Market Depth Level 2 data, Volume / Market Profile, or Order Depth, etc.

I manually draw 2 Fibs and use a Polynominal Regression Channel on 3 or 4 time frame charts including 4hr, 60M, 450T, and a 10-1-1 Flex Renko with a Slow Stochastic.

AMP does not support our Teton Order Routing Service.

Denali is our data feed, which does not have a dependency on AMP, except for the need to connect to a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get the data a the non-professional rate. You do not have an issue with this, since you are using CQG for your order routing.

What you need is package 10 with the CME non-professional top-of-book exchange.

You are already on package 10, so you are all set there.

You just need to do the following to get your data setup:
- Fill out the two real-time exchange agreements at the following link:

Be sure you enter CQG for your FCM and include your account number where specified, and then mark yourself as a Non-Professional.

Per the following, I have not received credit for my Denali payment. I just added the Nasdaq and should only be charged $16.00 for the two remaining days of June.

Both of my brokers (Infinity Futures and AMP Trading) are pretty fed up with this lack of transparency and consider your new business approach as "playing games". I have been a staunch supporter of Sierra for many years (since probably '97) and I am ready to jump ship. Support is not available at the Broker Level and there seems to be a hostile attitude from the "engineers". This is not a suitable approach to retain customers and business experience proves that it takes 5 times the money and time to gain new customers. Don't alienate the customers you have now!

I realize that most small businesses cannot afford to hire Instructional Designers, but if you want to retain customers and expand your business you will reconsider cutting out support at the Broker level.

The NASDAQ data feed is enabled and available. Make sure you enter your symbols with the suffix "-NQTV" in order to get the data from the NASDAQ TotalView feed. For example, for IBM, you would enter the symbol IBM-NQTV. You were charged $16.00 for the NASDAQ TotalView data feed.

The reason you are being told that you need to have $52.00 in your account is because you have a $16.00 charge coming on July 1, 2022 for the NASDAQ TotalView exchange (exchange fees renew on the first day of each month). And then you have a $36.00 charge coming on July 10, 2022 for your Usage Time (Package 10 for 1 month).

You have not setup any data for the CME Group. If you want to get that data from us, then you will need to follow these instructions:

AMP Trading has not made a decision yet on Sierra Chart/Teton/Denali. In the meantime, I cannot Trade LIVE the NQ or ES Index Futures (Intraday) in the CME Group. I have Service Package 10, version 2393.

The following results occur with selected Data/Trade Service Settings:
CQG WebAPI (trading)- price does not move at all
SC Data All Services (data) - allows simulated trading only

I do not wish to change Brokers to find one that accepts Sierra Charts. If I have to learn another charting package, it is safe to assume I will never return.

First, please confirm that you do not want the NASDAQ TotalView exchange active - this has data for U.S. Stocks. We will deactivate this for you if you do not want it, and we will want to take care of that today for you so you are not charged again for the exchange tomorrow (July 1, 2022), as the exchanges renew on the first day of each month.

Second, with your system connected to CQG, we need to see your Message Log to determine why you are not getting the CQG data. Or, if you want to get the data for the ES and NQ, then you need to go through the Setup Instructions for the CME Group data.

For the CQG data, please follow these quoted instructions:

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

I have requested a Datafeed change with AMP and will forward the Message Log when they inform me this action is complete.

Cleared Message Log for Symbol F.US.ENQU22: Price has not moved since 17th of June.

Several years ago, the account was moved from Infinity Futures (Transact) to AMP Trading when Sierra and Infinity parted ways.

Everything on your account looks fine at this time. You are setup to get the CME top-of-book data, which will give you access to the ES and NQ data. You do not need the NASDQ TotalView exchange, as that is for the U.S. Equities and not futures. That exchange is currently deactivated, so it will not renew next month.

You also have enough funds in your account to renew your Package (Package 10) on July 10, 2022. Keep in mind the Exchange Fees come due on the first day of each month (which is separate from the package renewal), so you will need to ensure you have at least $1.25 in your account before August 1, 2022.

You should be getting real-time data for the ES and NQ. Just make sure you open a chart by selecting File >> Find Symbol in order to ensure you use the correct symbol for the trading service you are using.
