Hi, I have been a client now for 6mos or so using your software only. I set up an acct with IB to receive my data, and I have executed my trades w Trading Tech through my clearing firm at the CME, Nirvana Tech Solutions, which is a subgroup of EDFMan. I am wanting to get rid of TT as it is $700 a month and your DOM is TT's so why not use you. I don't trade huge amounts so the 10 cents(5 each to you and TT) is fine. My clearing firm has tried to contact you to get all the details ironed out but with not much success so I am trying. It is important we sort this as there are potentially a lot of clients using your software for charting who would use it for execution. I am a member of the Pit who I know you have been in contact with about supplying software for new members. Ok so we need some questions answered before I and Nirvana can move forward with this. 1. Right now I have prepaid you for the software through Jan sometime. Will the cost I pay change, and will I just continue to deal directly with you. (I do not get billed directly now from TT, it goes through my account at Nirvana). I am hoping this stays the same. 2. Every month I pay $41 ish for my data feed. Nora, from Nirvana, has said there will be a charge of $20 to you for data? Why would there be this charge if I am paying you now 41, is this something extra? Please can you give us some definitive answers re charges and costs from your side that will be passed on to me(and or my clearer). Yes we are familiar with this, and we did share the "Sierra Chart" company with Nirvana and they just need to add the trading account to the SierraChartFIX_2 user on the TT system. So progress is being made. If the account has been assigned we just need to be advised of this. Everything remains the same with pricing. No changes. 2. There is nothing extra for the data feed. But you will want to switch to our new Denali Exchange data feed next month. That data feed is 20 a-month plus exchange fees. They are just not aware that you are already paying for the data feed. The only thing additional you will pay for is $0.10 per contract per side. thanks for your prompt reply. I will copy this and send to Nora and Ambaj. What is the Danali feed? Why do I need it? Is it for execution? I ask as I have had no issues with the feed I have now. (well one small issue. At least once every other day my 5 min footprint will suddenly stop updating. All the rest of the charts in that chartbook are happy as can be, but the 5min footprint just stops printing the boxes with the volumes done, BUT the dotted line which shows current price will keep updating...All I do is close down Sierra and restart. It is a pain the ass sometimes. Actually, maybe you could forward this to tech as it something that happens day after day) Back to the data feed fee, Nora was telling me that the CME is going to charge me $105, but if that's the case then why would I have to pay them and you? Sorry, as you can see from my other Support posts I am really dumb re anything IT... But surely I either pay you the fee or I pay the CME, but not both of you. thank you for your time. |

The Denali Exchange Data Feed is documented here: Denali Exchange Data Feed It is just a market data feed and will replace the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed you are currently using. This is quite unusual. Refer to help topic 3:Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart We think what they are saying regarding the exchange fee is that you have to pay the professional fee. Hi again, So I will stop paying the $41 a month I currently do, and will now pay you $20 for this Danali feed? Makes me wonder why I didn't do that right from the beginning and save 20 bucks a month... re the error it is none of those listed on your page. Believe me, being a good girl I looked there before when it first started happening. It can be none of those. Not even the last one, corrupt page, as I had a brand new 5min footprint given to me by someone else and it still does it! So I don't know what you can do about it. And remember all the rest of the ES charts in that chartbook are not affected... Finally, I have tried my blond moron best and I cannot find how I get ES or EW1,2,3,4 options quotes up. And obviously to trade them. Can you send me a link as I sure can't find one. thanks |

The Denali Exchange Data feed is new. And it is $20 a month plus exchange fees. If you want CME data, the exchange fee is 115.50 USD a month if you are considered a professional. And this does not include CBOT, NYMEX or COMEX. If a chart is not updating it would have to be one of the items here: Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart There is no other possibility. When you have the problem let us know and we can do a remote assistance session to look into it. Start a new support request on the Support Board about this at the time. Hi, Sorry for the endless barrage of questions but before I give up on 20yrs of TT I need to know exactly what is going on here. I will list the questions for ease of your replying. Also will copy this and send to Nirvana and to someone named Ray at your company as he is who Bish from The Pit has been working with about getting more people to use SC. 1. I am still confused about Danali. Yes, I get that it's new, and $20 a month. Does this REPLACE the $41 I am now paying?(never do things go down in price so I am sure that is not it). If it is an additional charge to the $41 I pay you each month why do I need it? What additional would it give me over and above what I have now which seems absolutely perfect? So what option below do I get to choose from a-$41 data feed as is b-$41 plus Danali $20 as that's what I must get(again I want to know why I need something extra when the feed I have works perfectly fine...) c-$20 Danali only which replaces the $41 I am currently paying 2. Why are you quoting $115 for a CME pro data feed when Nirvana has quoted $105? Is this fee in addition to the data fees in question 1? I will NOT connect to SC to trade as directed in the other Support emails as I do not want to initiate any charges until I am iron clad on what they are. Again, it is important you get this clear with me if you'd like me to promote using your software for execution as well as charting in the Pit community. 1. It does replace the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. So item c. 2 . We do not want to go into a lot of explanation as to why the price is higher. It does need to be higher to cover processing costs but we can reduce it to about 111USD/month. There is another reason why it is higher but that is another explanation.
