I'm using pre-release 1119

today each chartbook I opened gave me a "symbol is unknown" message. all charts stopped updating.

I last updated my chartbooks on Saturday March 12th, and they were working just fine.

We see why this happens.

They have changed the year month format in a security definition response. There are no longer 2 trailing zeros. So Sierra Chart is not able to obtain a match.

We have to patch this. We do not expect to get a new release out until early morning. We apologize, but they should not have change something like this.

Sierra Chart officially supports CTS datafeed, that's one of the main reasons I've chosen to use SierraChart over other trading platforms. shouldn't you have some form of official agreement with CTS, so that they give you a heads up before doing major changes to their datafeed?

Sierra Chart has been working flawlessly before update997 and before switching to this Fix datafeed, I've had no complaint whatsoever. however this simply has not been the case since switching to the Fix datafeed. there had been more than a few occasions when there just wasn't any datafeed. I understand that CTS caused most of the trouble. but it also seemed to me that most of them could have been avoided if you guys communicated well with each other. so what really is the problem here? am I ever going to get reliable datafeed or not?

We are going to be putting out a new release in about 20 minutes.

They do not always think of these things. And this is something we have no control over. Users often think there is a much higher degree of cooperation between Sierra Chart and the external Data or Trading services but the level of cooperation is not nearly to the extent that users think there is or would like.

We do have good communication with CTS, but when a problem comes up it still takes time to resolve. There can be unexpected issues from time to time.

I've updated to pre-release 1120.

my charts are updating now, but all the bars between Friday's close and now are missing. I've tried to delete and download data, but it's still not working.

pretty ignorant acting by CTS. not the first time.
don't they realize they are pissing on their own customers? not everybody uses T4 and they should be aware of that...
