I have been trying to fix my problem reading the thread you posted for me and I cannot figure it out. All I know is since i done a Sierra update on my desktop that is when this problem started. Ive noticed if I load Sierra on my laptop which I havent updated evrything is fine. Can I get some help/support as I am not grasping how I can resolve this.

Specifically what profit are you referring to and where?:
"profit clears to zero."

I also have no trades in my activity log.

Hi thank you for the reply. With regards to my comment ‘profit clears to zero’I trade US hours 930am-4pm est so if I place some trades in the 1st 2 hour of the session and let’s say I am up 7 points then by 1130am est the daily p&l on my Dom resets to zero. I hope that makes sense. I have followed your instructions on converting the trade activity. I am not technical so I won’t know if this has worked until I place a trade and then check it is in my activity log.

Make sure the chart is set to the US Eastern time zone:
Time Zone Setting: Using Different Time Zone in Individual Charts

And set the Session Start Time for the chart to 09:30:00
And the End Time to 15:59:59

US New York 09:00:00-16:14:59 for the RTH Session then 18:00:00 - 09:29:00 for the evening sesssion. I have always used these times. Thanks.

At the time of the reset did you make any new trade? The problem could be something different. It could be a calculation issue as explained here:

Another example I was down over 5 handles (I am getting confused with my daily p&l because of this) in the first few hours of the session the DOM resets @ around 12pm est in the afternoon part of the session I made back 7 handles. So my DOM now says +7 for the day but that’s incorrect because of my morning losses. I’m U.K. -5 hours the New York session closes I stop trading and go to bed. In the morning when I wake the DOM should be 0 but I’m still up +7. This is confusing me big time I can’t access my trades in the activity log my p&l is all messed up and you keep sending me super confusing links that I don’t understand! Any chance of someone getting this fixed for me like I stated many times this all started when I done a Sierra update. Happy Easter I hope you can assist me in getting to the bottom of this

Are you trading on the CME Group of exchanges?

I can’t access my trades in the activity log
Why is this the case? There definitely should not be a problem with this. Here are the instructions:

First, we want you to perform this procedure:

Hello thanks for the reply, if you had read through the thread I have already been asked and done the convert trade activity option. I really feel like I am going round in circles and nobody wants to properly help me with my problem. I might be wrong but all I know is I reached out to support 11 days ago and nothing has been fixed. As of yesterday the same things were happening about 2 1/2 hours into the US session my DOM resets from whatever the P&L is back to zero. After the reset yesterday I was 12.25pts as I look at my Dom this morning I am still up 12.25pts when it should be new day and back to zero. My trade activity log doesn’t show any trades I think I have attached a file with a picture of how my activity log reads. On top of this I can’t put orders through on the DOM I have to place orders at market (this started yesterday). Please can someone help me resolve this sending me links is just confusing me more I am not tech savvy.

first, understand what you are describing is something that we have never heard of before based upon the Session Times that you are using and makes no technical sense. so we are really not sure about this.

And issues with the Daily Profit/Loss are common and we do have a full documentation page about that. And if you want that to work reliably do not uuse CQG please. You will need to switch to the Sierra Chart order routing service. If you are not technically oriented, and with the way that Sierra Chart does these calculations you certainly do not want to be using CQG further. But we can discuss that later with you.

If switching makes sense then I will switch. I appreciate you are busy and I appreciate the help I am just a little frustrated right now. I’m trying to learn to become a successful trader, when I master that then maybe I can master SC. It seems a beast of software if you are tech savvy, which I am not.
