Chart/drawing alerts not relaying to chat/NTFY after re download of sierra on new device

FYI I am using alerts exclusively on chart drawings and nothing else- not sure if this is important info. Alerts firing correctly (Alerts Log shows real-time notifications), Chat>commands shows connected, private group exists with the same Chat ID as on my old pc — history confirms it worked just 5 days ago, before I switched windows device. But no message appears in the chat window or of course on my NTFY app on mobile,when an alert triggers. I have tried/configured: • Alert 1: “Send Alert as Chat Message when this Alert is Triggered” = Yes • Alert 1: “Chat Identifier for Alert” = 0 • “Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alerts” = matches the group • “Enable Remote Alerts” = Yes Also did the obvious restart of Sierra after these changes, still nothing. I feel as though it should be an easy fix, considering the alerts log is working. Nonetheless, I am not getting any mobile NTFY notifications, nor am I getting any audible locations on my laptop (the latter is less of a problem). I cannot figure out what the leak is. I figured I would ask for help on this before trying to set it all up again from scratch, as I could barely get it to work last time. Thank you. |

The "Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alerts" needs to be set to the Numeric value of the chat group. You can not use the name, that is still not supported. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Chat Identifier or Chat Name for Alert (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Alerts >> Notification) If you do have the number in that field, then after you have an alert occur, check your Message Log and see if there are any messages related to having a problem sending the information to the Chat.
