Hello My main instance set up in live mode, Trade simulator unchecked ( I am with Apex) and it is working fine. All my subinstances are set up in same mode but for some reason all sub instances displaying SIM accounts (in the trading window) instead of APEX accounts. I checked and unchecked the Trade Simulation Mode and it does not make any difference. l can not find the problem why it is happening? I made changes and moved a chartbook from main sierra to new subintance and recreated main sierra chart book that is when this issue appeared, before I had all suinstances functioning fine in the same mode. Not sure what is really happened as I can nor find the problem?

Disregard those simulated accounts. They should not be an issue. It does set to YES already. I could trade APEX from all my subinstances before Christmas but now only from my main Sierra.That is the problem I use order allocation to trade accounts and it worked great and it still does on my main Sierra. All Subinstances are now displaing Sim1 as the main account but allocation accounts are from APEX, something is not right here. I have 4 APEX accounts and I used one as main account and 3 as allocation accounts. Now I have Sim 1 as my main account but three other's are from APEX. It does not display my main account anymore but Sim 1 (there is also a choice for Sim2)

Yes as i mentioned in my first message. I made sure that all subinstances are in Trade mode As there is no data flow now maybe when market resumes on Sunday than it might make a difference?

With regards to the data flow, the issue is that your sub-instances have the wrong symbol. We can see this in one of the images where the symbol is showing as "NQH26-CME". For Rithmic, the symbol should be "NQH6.CME". Make certain that the main instance is set to connect Rithmic and you are logging into your APEX account. Then in each of the sub-instances, please select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" for the symbols to update to the service that is selected in the main instance. Then, ensure that each sub-instance has "Trade >> Trade Simulation On" unchecked. Then in the "Trade Window" for each sub-instance see if you can view all the proper accounts for your Apex connection. Let us know if you still do not see all of the accounts in the Trade Window account selection. Done everything and it did not help -Yes symbols are are different on all subinstancrs, NQH26-CME (they come with dash on all products) but on the main Sierra NQH26.CME with the dot - I translated all symbols to current service and it did not help - I reconnected Main Sierra and trading log listed all 4 APEX accounts I have. - I also tried to translate to current service main Sierra. - I disconnected and reconnected main Suerra and all subinstances. - I tried to check and uncheck Trade simulation mode on main and all subinstances and also disconnect and reconnect services. - I tried all above in different orders. One more fact I noticed on main Sierra after symbol there is [CV][M] but on subinstances only [C]. I hope it helps I traded on main Sierra today and all trades went through. I just can not trade on all subinstances

Made a mistake above but here is the correct one: One more fact I noticed on main Sierra after symbol there is [CV][M] but on subinstances only [CV]

Selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" in the sub-instances should change the symbols to what is needed for how the main instance is set. It is very odd that this is not working for you. Please get us your Message Log from one of the Sub-Instances by following these instructions, as we are curious about why this did not work: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Reconnect to the data feed: File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers After about 30 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) Given that it did not work, however, you can change the symbols manually. Once you update the symbols, it sounds like you should be fine. With regards to the [M], that will not show in a sub-instance. So the fact that it is not there is correct. You are getting your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, but the sub-instances actually get the data from the Main Instance, so they are not making a direct connection themselves, which is why the [M] is not showing. The following is what we were looking for in the log: 2025-12-30 11:18:23.109 \| Checking for new symbol settings. Requested symbol settings MD5 for service code scdataallservices. Request ID: 2. This line is indicating that the main instance has the setting for "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set to "SC Data". This is why selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" did not change the symbols. We are somewhat confused at this point, as we were under the impression that the main instance was set to "Rithmic". With it set to "SC Data" you will not be able to trade the Rithmic accounts. Here is the issue I run 2 Sierras and both of them have subinstances. One run on SC Data I closed both of them and restarted the only one with the issue. The problem was solved immediately. I usually start both of them at the same time. How could this be possible that the Sierra subinstances with the issues was operating on the other Sierra SD Data service? A few weeks ago I removed my Sierra2 and installed a new Sierra2 and I was transferring some files in between all of them. Maybe I transferred something extra? IT is a little bit confusing for me. I run one Sierra with APEX Rithmic and second one had always SC Data. I just switched to Teton order routing. Can I run the second Sierra with Teton order routing service instead of SC data?

With regards to the issue of which main instance a sub-instance is attached to, refer to the following: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Resolving DTC Protocol Server Port Number Conflicts Given the above, if you want to have sub-instances associated with multiple main instances (i.e. some sub-instances for one main instance and some sub-instances for another main instance) then you will need to have the main instances setup to use different port numbers and the sub-instances setup to attach to the proper port numbers for the main instance you want. -- You can change your instance that is setup for "SC Data" to be "Teton". Changed all portal numbers on all instances and subinstances. Changed the main instance to Teton service. I have a data flow on my main instance but there is no data flow on all subinstances. All subinstances symbols and main instance symbols format are same. I can not figure out why I do not have any data flow now. Message log has an Error connecting to Data and trading services.

I opened 3 new subinstances today on my Teton service Sierra and moved files from another Sierra to Teton Sierra. Everything is working fine except when I want to set up Open Files on Start up I can not see the files that I want to open on start up. I have to open them manually every time it starts The reason is because when the window opens with the files to choose from it opens in my SierraChart\Main folder but it should open in my SierraChart\|Subinstance# folder that is what I see in my other sunsintances that was set up a while ago except these 3 new subinstances that I installed today. Why, what is the reason?

In those sub-instances where you are having this issue, check the following setting: General Settings Window: Always Copy Configuration Files to New Instances When Started (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances) Make sure this is set to "No" in the Main Instance and then restart the Sub-Instances and setup the "Files to Open on Startup" as you want it and see if this resolves the issue. Remove all the items in that window and add the files back to the list making sure that the Data folder being used is the correct one for that sub-instance. Then restart the sub-instance and see if this resolves the issue.
