Hello,

I have a live account set-up with Edgeclear/Phillip Capital. I have been set-up currently to be using the Trading Evaluator service (for Apteros Tryout), but I am now wanting to trade sim and eventually Live on my edgeclear account.

When I make the service switch to "SC Data-All Service", my data is not working.

Would it be possible to activate my live account services?

It is not an issue with regards to your Sierra Chart account services.

When you change the Service setting within Sierra Chart, you also need to select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service in order to update the symbols in your chart to match what is used by the currently selected Service Setting. Just do this and you should be fine.

Note that you will have to make that selection again when you change back to the Trading Evaluator, or any other Service setting change.

Refer to the following:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

Thank you for the response, It is working now after trying again.

I did come across another issue. My market depth on my DOM is only showing 1 bid and 1 ask levels. On the message log it states:
"SC Data- All Services|Market Depth data has been rejected for symbol: ESM21-CME. Not authorized for market depth."

Does that have to be activated on your end?

You do not have the exchange options within the Denali Exchange Data Feed activated that offer the Market Depth. You can make the change on this page:

If you do not need Market Depth for the entire CME Group, then you could just add the exchange options that include market depth individually. For example, if you just need market depth for the E-Mini S&P 500 (ES) then you could just activate the "CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts", which would only add another $10.40 (instead of the "Full CME Group with Market Depth" which is $31.20).

Also, keep mind that you are charged the full amount for a month regardless of when you activate the exchange in the month. So if you activate the exchange today (March 26) you would pay the full amount just for the remainder of March and then again on April 1 for April. So if you can wait until April 1, it will save you some money.

Sorry to revive this old thread,

but I am currently registered for the Apteros tryout which requires me to connect to the 'Trading evaluator' server, but whenever I connect to it, it is stuck in 'waiting to connect' (yellow bar). Is this something on your end that needs to be activated?

The SC/TT server for my live account works just fine. I am able to connect.

No we do not need to activate this.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Connect to the data feed:

Select "File >> Disconnect"

Select "File >> Connect to Data Feed"

After about 30 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Is there a way to place trades on the 'trading evaluator' server through the sierra chart website?

I've done it on my live account but was wondering if this feature is available for the trading evaluator server.

Yes, you can access your Trading Evaluator accounts through the Web Trade Account Data and Order Entry service. You will find the link to the web access on your Sierra Chart Account Control Panel under the Trading section.

Ok thanks. and yea I have been to that page before but when I click on the 'trading account' drop down, nothing is displayed. Also clicking on 'connect' doesn't change anything. Any ideas?

I am still having issues. the same picture I sent in post #14 is what is still currently happening.

Under connected (trading) is still states 'False'. On the drop-down tab for the trading account, it is still blank.

Thank you, I am able to connect and see my orders on the web-based evaluator now. But I am unable to cancel orders through my phone. Any idea what it might be?

I tried refreshing, and re-connecting through my mobile device but the order still show up.
