Sierra Chart is implementing standard and unified pricing for all Sierra Chart users across our entire user base. Update: If your Sierra Chart account is with AMP, read this post before contacting AMP: Important Notice: Price Standardization Plan Effective March 1, 2021 | Denali Data Feed | Post: 248142 We are going to be releasing new packages this week and which all users will be transferred to before March 1, 2021. These packages have already been released but the prices will be adjusted down to what we show below. So disregard the prices you see on the packages page. If you pay for Sierra Chart through a broker, your price will be the one month package price. You will not be able to take advantage of the multi-month discount (up to 6 months) through a broker. You will have to start to pay for Sierra Chart directly if you want to take advantage of multi-month payment discounts. Multiple month discounts are shown here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Multiple Month Purchase Discount (This table does not yet show the reduced prices which will go into effect near the end of January 2021) All of this goes into effect March 1, 2021. It is important we get this done and over with now without delays. The following are the new packages: -Standard Package + Denali Data Feed: 28 USD/month (Package 10)
-Advanced Package + Denali Data Feed: 38 USD/month (package 11). (Note: This package is needed for the new upcoming EUREX EOBI data feed) -Advanced Package with market by order functionality + Denali Data Feed: 60 USD/month (package 12) More information about the Denali Data Feed is here: Denali Exchange Data Feed As you can see these packages only have increased by 1 USD per month. Even though the packages include the Denali data feed, this data feed is not actually used until you actually activate and pay for the corresponding exchange fee for the exchanges that you want through this data feed. Users on package 3 will be moved to package 10. Users on package 5 will be moved to package 11. Market by order functionality will be removed from all packages except Package 12. As you can see the Denali data feed is now included with all packages and there is no longer a separate cost. So for anyone using the Denali Exchange Data Feed currently, you are now receiving a lower price. If you have been getting Sierra Chart for free or discounted through a particular broker and then there is now a cost for Sierra Chart in March 2021 or a little higher cost and going forward, please understand that Sierra Chart is an excellent value. These are already incredibly low prices, especially with all of the massive price inflation that we have in the monetary bases of the major currencies. With this massive inflation, Sierra Chart prices are shockingly cheap. And it is not a problem for there to be a cost for Sierra Chart in March or a small price increase when you previously have been receiving it for free or discounted all of this time. This is simply a non-issue. Do not take this negatively. You can then decide what you want to do thereafter, after you have a chance to think about this rationally and look at practical reality and realize it is very fair and you are getting an incredible deal and you got an incredible deal previously with paying nothing or a substantial discount. And now you are also getting access to the Denali data feed and all of the market data capabilities and historical data it provides! One thing you can do to reduce your monthly cost if you have been paying for Sierra Chart through a broker is pay for Sierra Chart directly through this website which is supported and we will give you instructions with how to do that, and take advantage of the multiple month discount: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Multiple Month Purchase Discount (This table does not yet show the reduced prices which will go into effect near the end of January 2021) We may sometime in 2021, this is not definite, only support CQG on the Advanced Packages. And this is only 38 USD per month. And this includes the Denali Exchange Data Feed. If you are a CQG user trading EUREX or CME you can consider moving to the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. More information about this service: Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service These packages will also provide Historical Daily data for all supported Trading services. So the change regarding Historical Daily data that occurred at the end of December 2020 related to Interactive Brokers and CQG will no longer apply. You will now have access to Sierra Chart provided Historical Daily data. If you are a CQG or Interactive Brokers user, in order to use the comprehensive and complete Sierra Chart Historical Intraday data, you then need to just pay the corresponding exchange fee for the exchanges you need market data for. Then all of the historical and real-time data is provided by Sierra Chart in the best possible way, which works very well with Sierra Chart. On the historical data component of this, this will include 10+ years of historical tick by tick data. If you are trading EUREX or the CME markets, you will get the best order routing, with the Sierra Chart order routing service: Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service Also the Denali Exchange Data Feed will be including EUREX data, we expect before the end of January 2021. And this is the very best EUREX data feed in the world: New Upcoming EUREX Full Order Book Data Feed (Now Available!) Objectives: -Include Denali Exchange Data Feed which over time will have additional exchanges added. -Comprehensive historical and real-time data through the Denali Exchange Data Feed which is necessary when using Sierra Chart with external trading services which have limited historical data capability. -All users are now on the same price. We will not be doing any discounts for anyone. It is not a valid argument to say that you are with some group or a particular broker and you are entitled to a discount. Sierra Chart is already very cheap as it is and we have substantial expenses, with exchange connectivity which we are expanding upon. And we cannot have all kinds of different prices, and continuous questions coming up related to that. There is one price for everyone. -If you are paying for Sierra Chart through a broker, there are no restrictions with functionality any longer. You have the full Sierra Chart functionality according to what is documented here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing -Market by order data is now available through a separate package. ---- Note: If your account is with AMP do not contact them at all about this posting. Under no circumstances do we want AMP to be burdened with anything in this thread, we will handle all of that ourselves with them. And it is perfectly fine and acceptable and proper for AMP users who are getting Sierra Chart for free all of this time to then have a monthly fee with the massive amount of functionality and services that we provide, is necessary for Sierra Chart to function properly, and for the excellent engineering provided. One more detail in regards to this, is we are implementing automatic billing to a credit/debit card when paying direct for Sierra Chart, through one of our payment processors and this will be ready we expect by February 2021.

We are pushing this change out to March 1. The new packages are already out. When February 1 comes, we probably will not lower them down to the prices given in the first post in this thread until March 1 but we will reduce them partially and then when March 1 comes they will be reduced to the stated prices.

Yes, AMP will absolutely support these NEW Sierra Chart Packages. We are in the process of reviewing these new packages with AMP and will be working together to best help our customers adjust to these NEW Sierra Chart Packages.

One more detail regarding the price standardization plan is that the $10 credit that is given when using both the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and the Denali Exchange Data Feed at the same time, will be removed effective March 1. This is a good example, of why we are working towards price standardization, and why we will not offer discounts to anyone and we cannot favor any particular broker. Look at this thread beginning with this post: Intraday data errors Furthermore, we have a US bank account that customers can put funds into, that can be used to pay for Sierra Chart services (Start an account support ticket for the banking details). If you want to make a withdrawal, we will just charge 5 USD plus the actual wire transfer fee. We will also set up a euro account as well. So there is no reason to be involving a broker, for paying for Sierra Chart. And we are also working on direct crypto ccurrency payments. This will be available soon. We now support automatic billing to credit and debit cards through Stripe. We will also support this through PayPal when we can. So there simply is no reason to get the broker in the middle of all of this. One thing that really complicates things, is when a user has a new Sierra Chart account created through a broker which is different than their Sierra Chart account they already have, and then the broker does things they do not want regarding billing or they do not do the set up of services properly. It is much better that users are in full control over this, and we can help you as necessary. Since we understand our systems best. When you have your own direct Sierra Chart account you are in full control of your Sierra Chart account and can activate it and deactivate it at will. We may maintain packages 3 and 5 with identical prices for now. And offer the new packages package 10, 11, 12 for an additional cost but we still have yet to work out with that would be. We would like to put this plan into effect as soon as possible, but in order to make the process more graceful for affiliates and not "rock the boat" too much, we are doing this in stages. We are going to maintain the Standard Package 3 and Advanced Package 5 for the coming months. These packages will still be available through brokers like AMP. The pricing you will pay for these packages through the broker, will remain the same during February and March. There will be an incremental price increase, in April for them in order to bring the prices closer to our standard prices and offer all of the same functionality without restrictions. Currently (during February 2021) the pricing of the new packages is as follows: -Standard Package + Denali Data Feed: 46 USD/month (Package 10) -Advanced Package + Denali Data Feed: 56 USD/month (package 11). -Advanced Package with market by order functionality + Denali Data Feed: 66 USD/month (package 12) On March 1, 2021, these new packages will be changed to the following reduced prices: -Standard Package + Denali Data Feed: 36 USD/month (Package 10) -Advanced Package + Denali Data Feed: 46 USD/month (package 11). -Advanced Package with market by order functionality + Denali Data Feed: 60 USD/month (package 12) At this time there is no monthly discount for the new packages. The reason is that we will be reducing prices for them. So we do not want users to pay for any more than one month now. Also because the new packages include the Denali Exchange Data Feed (normally 20 USD per month), and in March that will be offered for only 10 USD additional per month with these packages, and we are maintaining the existing packages without any increases, at this time we are not willing to offer the multi-month discount for these new packages. We had a question about the requirement to use the Advanced package for CQG at a future point in time. That is on indefinite hold for now. This was the question: CQG and Advanced Package And here is the answer: First, we are going to put this issue definitively behind us with direct order routing to the CME. This is coming and TT will just simply become secondary. Namely, this decision is forcing everyone who is using the Standard Package to switch over to Denali with TT order routing because of the price difference.
We are not forcing anything here. So this is not true. You can continue to use CQG. There is only a 10 USD per month difference between our Standard and Advanced package. And our new packages which include the Denali Data Feed are only 10 USD per month higher, effective March 1, than the packages without the Denali feed. And the plan to require the Advanced package for CQG is being delayed because we do not want to make more than one change at once with packages and pricing. And really, all we are doing at this point is just offering new packages. And reducing the cost of the Denali Exchange Data Feed. And yes, because of this order routing issue, that is another reason as well. So nothing to be concerned with now. However, if we require the Advanced package for CQG the cost would be 36 USD per month. If you want to use the Sierra Chart order routing service and the Denali feed and just require the Standard package, then the cost is also 36 USD per month. This is a reasonable price with what users are getting especially with the very large amounts of historical data available and the high-speed and reliable delivery. On Friday, we had moved users who are using the Denali Exchange Data Feed and using Service Package 3 (Standard) or Service Package 5 (Advanced), to Service Package 10 or 11 respectively which include the Denali Exchange Data Feed directly. These packages are documented here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing Also understand these new packages do not include any exchange fees. Exchanges do not give their data for free. It is wishful thinking, to think you are just getting real-time data for free without any additional exchange fees. We have seen some users, think this is the case and that is just simply not true at all. We had a problem with the calculation of the new usage time ending date when there is more than one month of usage time remaining on the account. So we reverted that change the next day. There is one additional item we have to revert and that is revert back the correct renewal period. Whether that is one month, three months or six months. We will get that corrected back to the way it was. Once we get the calculation issue worked out, we will then move users to these new Service Packages again later this week (Ending 2021- 03-06). Please avoid contacting Sierra Chart support about this. We do not need any unnecessary support and questions. This just simply slows down our development and progress with everything when we get all these unnecessary questions. We will to handle the migration for you automatically so you do not need to do anything. Please think twice before contacting us for anything which is unnecessary.
