DAX-201903-DTB-EUR-5 all of a sudden, daily chart not showing anything all other timeframes are fine this is not the first time this has happened... also with other symbols delete/download or recalculate wouldn't fix it closing SC and reopening it solves the problem, but I'm annoyed at having to do this want to get to the bottom of it am connected to IB trading service, but using SC real time data feed service please advise

When you have a problem again follow these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download". It's happening again. OK...something's really wrong now..... Every time i change symbol on my quoteboard, this one hourly chart goes dead, and doesn't load data. All the other charts with other time frames are fine.. Updating symbols settings form server doesn't fix it. Closing SC an reopening it works, but again when i change the symbol on my quoteboard, it goes dead again please advise thanks

We now tested the symbol settings file you provided and did not notice any symbol mapping problems and also do not see that from the Message Log either. In regards to this chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1548840838647.png Select Chart >> Reset Scales. And disable this option: Chart Settings: Show Chart Drawings For Different Symbols (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu) If there still is a problem it is not clear to us why. In that case just re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. I continue with the problem.... driving me insane! I've updated symbol settings from server. I have deleted and re-downloaded the data. Problem persists.... data not showing up on chart. no it's not scale related....it is in automatic scale range.... always has been I can't be scale... I got 10 symbols in quoteboard... typically it works fine when I switch 2/3 times... by the 4th time , I get the problem. It's not a specific symbol that causes the problem, it's rather random when I get the issue...but I'm getting it ALWAYS now What else can I send you to check please? Does this Chartbook have a quote board? We do not see one. What symbol are you changing the chart to that is causing the problem? It does have a quoteboard... is there a mechanism to embed it or not as part of the chartbook? Like I said... when I change the symbol via the quoteboard, it works fine the first few times, but eventually the issue arises and the hourly chart loads no data, Is there any other specific stuff to record/save when the issue happens again so I can send out to you, if it's not happening on your end?

Hi I think it's difficult to schedule a remote session because the problem happens at random. I just happened again, after a couple of days with no issues. I've cleared the log window and conducted two operations: 1) delete and download data; 2) reset scales. This is what I noticed: first the chart appears empty, and I notice the price values are relevant for the prior symbol I was looking at, i.e. QM (oil),. When I zoom out and move the chart to the relevant price range for this symbol (M6A), I can see the data there, but I notice all price and drawings collapsed into a very tight vertical price range. It is extremely obvious to us what is happening. And this is why you only notice it sometimes. In this chart: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1549449144729.png You have altered the scale from default. Simply select Chart >> Reset Scales to restore it back to normal. If that does not restore it to normal, it means it is not using an Automatic Scale Range. We do not need to see any Message Log and there is definitively not a need to re-download any data. All of that is irrelevant. In the next release we will clear Interactive Scale Range and Interactive Scale Move adjustments, when the symbol changes.
