I'm been using Sierra Chart on a Mac through Parallels for the last year with no issue. My Windows updated today and afterwards Sierra Chart wouldn't open. I looked in the Seirra Chart folder and saw Sierra Chart_Arm 64 as well as the original app (see screenshot). I opened the newer version, but when loading my chartbook, there were studies missing (see screenshot). I couldn't resolve this issue so lastly, I updated to the current version from the Help Menu to see if that would resolve the issue. However, when the installation was complete there were a number of error messages (see screenshot). I don't want to install again from scratch if I don't have to, but I don't know what else to do

Try download .zip file, extract it, and copy the highlighted files and 2 folders into your existing Sierra folder (see attachment). Actually this is always the way I am doing update, I never run installation file. |

Thanks Tony, I followed your instructions but I'm still having the issue with the specific studies not showing on my charts. Sierra Chart_Arm 64 is running fine. I've tried opening other versions of this chartbook with the same studies, but they're still missing. These are custom studies that were made for me by a third party. There was no issue until this morning when I updated.

Here is the documentation for using the ZIP installer: Software Download: Sierra Chart Zip Installer Looks like you are missing some custom studies files. Go into the Sierra Chart Data Files Folder: General Settings Window: Data Files Folder (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) Do you see the DLL files there for them? Do you see the UserContributedStudies.dll file? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I am getting the same thing when trying to do a new install using the installer on Windows Server 2022. First time it froze almost immediately, second time lots errors in the log and now on the third try, it's faster but still intermittent errors in the log. It's getting better, so maybe a connection issue with server that the installation files are on? |

What froze almost immediately? The installer? We do not know what errors you are seeing in the Message Log. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes, the installer froze on the first try after getting to "https://download3.sierra*" from "https://download1.sierra*" on the log. On the tries after, it was logging http errors; couldn't download certain files. No problems now, I just deleted and tried installing again and it was fast like normal with no errors. |

When you say froze, was it in a frozen and inoperable state? We would recommend disabling security software and functionality: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.8 - Antivirus/Anti-Malware Software It does also sound like there was a connectivity issue as well. I reinstalled the latest version of Sierra Chart as per the instructions, and yes I located the UserContributedStudies.dll file in the Data folder (see screenshot). It's the only DLL file in the Data folder. Unfortunately the two specific studies are still missing. Just to clarify, most of the custom studies on my chartbook are still there, it's just two that are missing
