For some reason my Large Trade Volume indicator is not appearing along with the DOM(depth of market) not showing limit orders. I have tried altering the settings but still no resolution. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-10-03 20:22:25

For the "Large Volume Trade Indicator", make sure you are using an "Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" of "1 tick". If you use something else, then this study will not work. Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) Also, what is one symbol for which you are having an issue with the Large Volume Trade Indicator? With regards to the Market Depth, what is one symbol for which you are having an issue? Neither of these will work properly for XAUUSD and NAS100. To begin with, the CFD data we have does not have any market depth data. And with regards to the Large Volume Trade Indicator, the CFDs do not provide specific volume information, so this will not work either. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Real Time and Historical Forex and CFD Data Service: Volume Data for Forex and CFD Markets For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

So to understand correctly. Neither XAUUSD nor NAS100 will allow these 2 indicators to work? Is there another solution to that? Like different data?… |

Correct, neither will work with CFD data. If you are wanting specifically CFD data, then we do not have another source. If you want to use completely different data, such as Futures data from the CME Group, then this does have Market Depth and proper volume data. For Gold, you would open a chart for the symbol GCZ25-COMEX. For NASDAQ 100, open a chart for NQZ25-CME. You will find these symbols on the Find Symbol window under the respective exchanges (COMEX and CME). Refer to the following: File Menu: Find Symbol (File) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for the clarification. I do have another question. I’ve been using the package 11 integrated advance. However, I’m not sure if I have it activated. I signed the exchange agreements & it says it’s active but it’s telling me I need to do step #3 which is “activate/deactivate Denali Exchange Data Feed”. On the data/trade service settings it does show “SC Data (Data)” Can you check on my end to verify if it is active please. Hopefully I made it clear to understand. Thank you |

Step #3 is to actually activate an exchange. You need to click on the link for "Activate/Deactivate Denali Exchange Data Feed Exchanges" and then select the exchanges that you want to activate. We want to point out that the last time you did the agreements, you specified that you are a "Professional", so you will need to activate and pay the Professional exchanges. These are quite expensive. If you did not mean to do this, then refer to the following to understand what you need to do in order to qualify as a Non-Professional for the CME Group data: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you! Can you walk me through what exchanges you recommend I Pay for? I mainly trade & use real time data for Gold(XAUUSD), NAS100(Not if that's NQ futures) & SPX(ES sometimes). Would that be both COMEX and CME exchange? If so It's $300 a month for both correct? |

You have your information correct. You need both CME and COMEX exchanges in order to get data for Gold (GC), NASDAQ 100 Futures (NQ) and S&P 500 Futures (ES). Note that there are also micro versions of these symbols. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I see. Question, for the $34.5 a month for the denali feed 6 month package that I am paying, what is that for then? Just curious. |

That is your Sierra Chart Service Package. That gives you the ability to use the Sierra Chart software. The exchange fees are separate from this. And the exchange fees go to the exchanges themselves. Got it! So given I have not paid for the exchange services themselves, is the data I'm receiving now not accurate? ... I can see the footprint charts with executed delta, volume, etc I have been using it like this for about 3-4months |

The data you have been receiving is the exact same as the real-time data, but it is delayed by 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the particular exchange.

Correct. If you setup and pay for an exchange, then you will get the real-time data for that exchange.

Can you explain the difference between CME & CME E-mini when purchasing the exchange? For reference, my plan is to trade NQ/ES/SPX & Gold |

To begin with, there are Professional and Non-Professional exchange options. For the CME Group, you would be a Non-Professional if you are not working trading other people's money, and you have a live, funded, futures trading account. You also need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that live, funded, futures trading account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Also, keep in mind that the CME Group is made up of 4 different exchanges - CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX. So be sure you are aware if you are activating the "Full CME Group" or just the "CME" exchange itself. The exchanges that are listed as the "CME" give you access to the full CME Group symbols. The "CME E-Mini" (which is a Professional exchange option) only gives you access to the most popular 19 symbols that are traded on the CME exchange. NQ and ES are part of this, along with the Micro versions of those (MNQ and MES). Gold (GC and MGC) are traded on the COMEX exchange and therefore are not included with any of the "CME" only exchanges. You would need to either include a COMEX option, or utilize one of the "Full CME Group..." exchanges, if you qualify as a non-professional. We are not sure what you are looking for in terms of SPX. That is an index and not a traded symbol. ES is the S&P 500 Index Futures, so we think this would be what you are wanting. But we do have data for the CBOE Indices, which has the SPX index data. This would be another separate exchange that you would have to activate and pay for in order to get this data.
