I have been using my Interactive Brokers account with Sierra Chart for years. Currently, I have am using it with Denali Data Feed (Package 11 without the exchange agreements in place). Recently, I am having very slow order execution issues (sometimes it is 15 sec - 1 min delays) to get even a market order filled. Also, when an order is executed (especially if a position is closed) then the wrong position size keeps appearing in the Trade Window.

Please advise how to solve these problems as we can't use Sierra Chart with IBKR.

Note: I have not executed the Exchange Agreements (CME, CBOT) at the moment. Should we first initiate these agreements ?

The first thing to note is that you are NOT getting any real-time data from us. You are either getting real-time data from IB, or you are getting delayed data from us. We do not know which is the case unless we could see an image of a chart.

If you are wanting real-time data from us, then you need to complete the agreements and activate the exchange(s) for which you want the real-time data. Follow the instructions at the following link to get this setup:

As to the slow executions, if you are using our Delayed Data, then that could explain it, but it would depend on how you are entering the orders. The first thing, though, is to ensure you are getting real-time data from whatever source you are wanting to use.

I have enacted the CME Exchange Agreements and the Denali Data Feed is active. A screenshot is also attached.

The problem still persists and there is a delay b/w the order placed and execution even if it is a market order. In addition, if a position is closed it still appears in the Trade Window which updates after a while (a minute or so).

Please check and advise.

We need to be very clear here. We can only help you with Sierra Chart provided market data. We cannot help you with any trading issues or delays with Interactive Brokers. We have disclosed the problems for years with Interactive Brokers.

We just simply cannot provide any help in this area. There is nothing we can do anyway. We are not going to check anything. We know there are problems. And that is your issue if you decide to use Interactive Brokers.

If you are trading the CME Group of markets, there should be no reason at all to be using Interactive Brokers and you should be using Teton order routing:
