We need to see the Message Log for that 2nd instance by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

We will then determine what the problem is.

This message tells us what is happening:
SC Data - All Services | Logon error received from server: Connection limit exceeded. | MaxConnectionsForSameDevice = 1, NumCurrentConnectionsForSameDevice = 2

You can only have 1 connection to the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed at a time. Refer to the following:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Connections

-----------

We also see the following:
Local computer UTC time and Server UTC time difference: 3593 seconds

So you might want to check your computer clock and update it to the current time.

The Message Log you sent us was NOT from a Sub-Instance (started with File >> New Instance - we can tell). If that was from your main Sierra Chart and you are not running Sierra Chart in another instance or on another computer, then you would want to exit from all your Sierra Chart instances that are running and then log back in using the Forced Login option. Refer to the following:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Forced Login

With regards to the time, that is not related to the Time Zone settings. When the time zone information is removed, it is showing that your computer clock is different from the data timestamps by the amount specified (nearly 10 minutes in your case). Just take a look and adjust your computer clock as necessary.

this is all very odd. So just to make sure, IF im using a second instance, the data feed should be fine correct? only if using a seperate install this becomes an issue? i def do not have a sondary install on this pc, always just used Second instance

so then i guess my question is, if that was my primary install feed and had my screens backwards this am , why is it delayed? and my 2nd instance is fine?

i see that same error now on restart. i had 0 issues with this, for 3 weeks

so i did a full system restart closed everything down, opened main install up first, data is fine now, and now second instance is frozen. im not too sure what needs to be done here or where you want me to start.

my system clock is perfect, its the windows OS clock. why is the data frozen? im not using a second connection im using a second instance

What exactly is happening in the Second Instance where it is "Frozen"? Are you just not getting any data, or is the software completely unresponsive?

If you are just not getting data, then copy and paste the Message Log into this thread for us to look at.

yes the price action was completely frozen. i would fresh it, it would Update to current price and just stop recieving data. Ive been able to now get it working by closing everything , restarting, and opening them , first by opening main install, then using the "file.New Instance" tab to open the second, before i was launching the second instance , in the "Instance2" folder inside the main sierra install. Seemed to have triggered it, for now

if i have the problem tomorrow in the premarket and spot it ill post it in here

You need to start each instance by selecting the option for File >> New Instance. It will start the 2nd, then 3rd, etc. in order. You can NOT start the Sub-Instances by going to that folder and then running the executable directly. That would explain the issue you had previously, as when you do that, you are then running that instance as if it was a completely separate installation.

When you run the sub-instance by selecting File >> New Instance the sub-instance is setup to get the data from the primary Sierra Chart that started it.

Also, if you run the sub-instance all the time, then you can set them to start up automatically. Refer to the following:
General Settings Window: Instances to Run on Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> New Instances)
