I have linked my SC platform to my IB account through the SC software. Is there another step I need to take to get the data feed activated? I.E. is there a form online I need to fill out to complete this process so I can purchase and active the Denali data feed? Thanks

For some reason your Trading Account Verification has not updated, even though it looks like you are connected to your Interactive Brokers account.

If you are not always connected to your IB account (that is the Service is set to Interactive Brokers on the Data/Trade Service Settings) then you need to follow these instructions to connect to your IB account:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

If your service is always set to Interactive Brokers, then we want you to restart Sierra Chart and use the Forced Login option. You will find the instructions here:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Forced Login

Let us know when either of these is completed so we can check your status and make sure that it has updated for you.

When you say "not always connected to your IB account" vs "your service is always set to Interactive Brokers" I am not exactly sure what you mean. My intent is to link my IB once a month and then use the Denali feed (recently purchased). As it stands, I believe I have completed the aforementioned steps. Thank you.

What we mean by "always connected to your IB account" is that you will be keeping the Service setting in the Data/Trade Service Settings set to Interactive Brokers and that you have followed all the Setup Instructions to connect to your Interactive Brokers Software, which can be found here:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

If you are going to be using Sierra Chart to trade from, then there is no reason to disconnect from your Interactive Brokers connection. You can still use the Denali Exchange Data Feed and trade with IB. Refer to the information here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services

---------------

Apart from the above, we are still not showing that you have made an active connection to your Interactive Brokers account through Sierra Chart. We are wondering if you have done the full setup as we mentioned in the first paragraph above. Please review those instructions and make sure that Sierra Chart connects to your IB software.

It is necessary that you connect Sierra Chart to the Interactive Brokers software in order to validate your Interactive Brokers account to qualify for the Non-Professional exchange fees from the CME Group.

In other words, you need to load the Interactive Brokers software on the same computer as Sierra Chart. Make sure that that installation of Interactive Brokers is connected to your Interactive Brokers account (we are not sure if you can have multiple computers connected at the same time, so it's possible you may have to turn off the software on your other computer, but that is something you will have to work out).

Then connect your Sierra Chart to the Interactive Brokers software on the same computer for 1 minute. To connect Sierra Chart to your Interactive Brokers software follow the instructions here:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

Once that is done, you can disconnect Sierra Chart from the Interactive Brokers software (set the Service to "SC Data - All Services" and close the Interactive Brokers software on that computer.

You will need to do this at least once a month to verify your account to the CME Group.

Again, you will find the information for this here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services

so it is not possible to access data in SC on CPU X if only CPU Y has the IB local IB software connection? I.E. I'd like to set it up so i don't have to install IB on CPU X. is there a solution for this?

It is theoretically possible, but it requires that you know the IP addresses of the 2 computers and that they are on the same network.

Again, refer to the Setup Instructions for connecting to the IB software. This is covered in Step #15.

But be aware that this is not something that we commonly see, and any network related issues or other issues related to accessing the IB software from another computer are not things we can help with. This is why we really recommend installing the software on the same computer and then just using it to make this connection once a month.

(we are not sure if you can have multiple computers connected at the same time, so it's possible you may have to turn off the software on your other computer, but that is something you will have to work out)

You can have multiple computers connected, however, at IB you need to create a secondary user with trading rights to access the account. If you don't do this it will kick you off the first (TWS, Mobile or Web only one login per username)

so it is not possible to access data in SC on CPU X if only CPU Y has the IB local IB software connection? I.E. I'd like to set it up so i don't have to install IB on CPU X. is there a solution for this?

Maybe install the IB Gateway on CPU X this avoids installing the full TWS software... I have SC setup to access IB accounts through the Gateway.

If you create a second trading user account (userXXX) at IB & use the IB Gateway on CPU X, then CPU Y uses your TWS setup and userZZZ.

^You have to pay for market data and exchange fees separately for each user with this setup?
