Hi Support team,

This is the second day I am using this version after I updated over the weekend. And this is also the second time it just closed on me suddenly. I have been using SC closing to 2 years now and this never happend before.

No other programs crashed with it. No other programs were handled and I was working orders in SC at the time. No changes to my machine as im aware of. I was also not loading any data manually at least.

looks like the most serious problem I had with SC untill now.

Please let me know what information you would need from me.

have a good one.

Almost certainly this is going to be a Windows operating system problem. When we have seen issues like this in the past it has been an operating system level issue. At this point we believe this to be an operating system level issue but we will look. But last time we looked, we wasted an immense amount of time on a Windows operating system problem. That was 100% clear.

Try running Sierra Chart in safe mode:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

Enable this option:
General Settings Window: Save Message Log to File (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log)

When you have the issue again, provide the latest Message Log file but it is not likely to give us anything useful:
Message Log: Automatically Saving Message Log to File

Run all available Windows updates that are available to you. We do strongly suspect that this is an operating system issue.

We have no evidence to indicate otherwise.

It might be related to the these older dialog windows which we are gradually replacing in Sierra Chart.

We identified and resolved a potential problem related to order modifications from the chart, that might be related to this. We are not sure but we have to consider all possibilities.

When you can, update to prerelease version 2228. Update instructions:
Software Download: Fast Update

Be sure to update to the "Prerelease"
