Hi,

Switched to Denali on Friday. However, I am not with AMP and now considering a different Broker. When I try to logon onto my Sierra charts, I get a service connection error - Trade Account not assigned. Can you assist with this, so that I can at least sim trade in the interim?

If you do not have a trading provider, then in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service select SC Data - All Services. Refer to the information here:

Assuming you have already connected Sierra Chart to a live trading account this month you will then be able to access the real-time data and can do simulated trading. Otherwise you will not be able to get the real-time data according to CME rules.

Just be aware that if you do not have a funded futures account by the beginning of next month, then you will not qualify for the lower priced CME exchange fees and will have to pay the higher priced professional fees. Refer to the information here:

And one final note - we noticed that you activated multiple exchanges, which you did not need to do. You only need the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts. We have gone ahead and deactivated the other exchanges, as they were only repeats of this main one.

Hi,

Many thanks for that and I will look to appoint a trading provider asap. I appreciate that you rectified my account for the multiple exchange subscriptions.

The changeover to Denali has also had me review all my settings. It appears that my SC account and charts is linked to my wife's account and charts-does this make sense? She is with SC and AMP. Making the change to SC Data - All services, changes the settings on her charts.

Is there anything I can send securely, to assist in your review of this?

This makes no sense at all. Each installation of Sierra Chart is fully independent from others. Does your wife have another installation of Sierra Chart or are they using your own installation of Sierra Chart?

Thanks and I agree.

My sense now is that they are using my installation of SC, as we use same PC but at different times of day. On my logon however, the reference is my wife's -should i send a screen shot with details blanked to explain?

Hi,

I am not have much success with copying files from one installation to another? I cannot get a live feed?

Could you please revert me back to CQG again, as I found this much more straightforward.

We can do this using remote assistance for an additional cost.

Regarding the data feed, the problem is we see you are not running an up-to-date version of Sierra Chart. The first step is that you must update following these instructions here:
Software Download: Fast Update

If you want to use CQG, just follow the instructions here:
CQG Trading Platform Service

And that is necessary anyway to authorize the real-time data.

I've tried many times to copy the files to install new copy or transfer to new files in same PC.

I would like to organise remote assistance before the end of the week if possible?
