Downloading Historical Data

Hello,

I have been trying to resolve this issue with no luck. It has been downloading historical data since Friday and still not done downloading. I activated all that needed to be activated. I restarted. Reset. Still nothing. Can someone help me out remotely?

Part of the problem is that you have two exchanges active for your Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group. They are the following:
- Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts
- CBOT E-mini, For professionals and users without a trading account

Additionally, you have not connected to a qualified trading account in order to validate your non-professional status. Refer to the following for more information:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

Therefore, we need to know if you have, or are going to have, a live, funded futures trading account such that you can get the non-professional exchange, or if you are just going to pay the professional exchange fees (which you have already done for this month (November).

Once we know how you want to proceed, we can adjust your account accordingly.

I am not a professional but what I will be using is LeeLoo for the account login info. I do have an AMP Futures account but this is being setup for LeeLooTrading.

You can just connect to your AMP account once a month in order to qualify for the CME Group's non-professional status. Otherwise, you will need to pay the Professional exchange fees in order to get the Denali data. Refer to the following for how you would do this:

It is really your choice as to how you want to proceed. Let us know so we can take care of the conflict with the exchanges.

Since November is already paid up can we just leave it as is for this month and then I will setup the data on my live trading account for next month.

If you just want to get data for the CBOT, then we can leave things as they are.

But, if you want to get data for other CME Group exchanges, then you will need to get verified through AMP (either using the above method or connecting to your trading account) and then we will need to disconnect the CBOT for Professionals exchange that you have activated.

According to AMP that account that you have entered does not exist. Please confirm that you have entered it exactly like it is shown on your statements from AMP.

I understand the AMP account is to confirm the non professional data fees but since I already paid the full price of the professional data fees can you just help me fix whatever is wrong with this thing now and then I will work on whatever is needed to get the AMP part figured out throughout the month?

The problem is that you only have the CBOT for the Professional exchange. If you are ok with just the CBOT, then we can turn off the Full CME for Non-Professionals.

But, if you want the other way, then you would need to get the connection to AMP working in order to qualify for the non-professional fees from the CME Group.

I need the full CME.
I am working with AMP to see what the issue is there. The account number I provided was from October statement so I am not sure what is wrong there.

Since I paid the full professional fees for November. Is there a way to fix it to show full CME products until I get this resolved with AMP?

Unfortunately, no, there is no way to "fix" this except to get the trading account with AMP figured out.

Most likely, since the AMP Trading Account Authorization failed, you will need to connect to your trading account and then you can change back to Rithmic. Refer to the information here:

Most likely you are setup with CQG with AMP. Check with them for sure. You could also be setup with Rithmic with them. Once you know, let us know so we can point you to the proper instructions.

OK. I was able to get my AMP account situated and I went to that page to enter my account number and now it says verified.

Hello,

I was hoping you can help me with something. Last month I paid $46 to my account here for data, I paid around $35 or so to AMP Futures for Data. If I am paying AMP for Data how come I have to pay for data here as well? I thought with connecting my trading account it will cover the data fees? The $46 I paid into November data I had to pay for data with AMP as well for it to work as it was not until I had the AMP account connected and now I have zero data?

The first problem you have, at the moment, is that your Sierra Chart account with which you have posted in this thread is expired. If this is the same account you are using to login to the software, then you will not get any data until you activate a package.

Second, if you are paying AMP for data, then you do not need to pay us. We can get data from CQG and Rithmic into Sierra Chart. Although we will tell you that there is a lack of historical data with both of these vendors and you will have access to a lot more historical data using the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Whichever way you go, you just need to let the other know that you do not need their data. In other words, if you use our data, then you need to tell AMP that you do not want data from the trading service they have you setup with. Conversely, if you do use the trading service data, then you do not need to get it from us.
