I am having several totally different issues with my Sierra software that appear to me to be unrelated to each other. Version #2915 64 bit. I have an account with Dorman and use Teton service. 1. My real time clock and Countdown Timer freeze and do not change without shutting down and restarting the program. 2. My chart start normally but then quit making showing/making price bars as the day progresses. 3. The Current Price line does not stay aligned with the price. The line stays frozen and price goes up or down. 4. The studies to graph comes up blank when I open it up and want to change a single perimeter on one study and there are none showing although currently I am using 83 studies. 5. This past weekend I tried to use the Analysis format to reinstall a previous set of known studies and it gave me no studies only blank candlestick bars. 6. Took me about 15 minutes for this account support ticket to come up. While waiting all my other applications come up instantly - Breitbart news, Bloomberg, Zero hedge etc etc. Help please. Have I done something wrong? I Run Malwarebytes daily and shows no virus problems. |

1. It is not unusual for them to not update all the time (to see occassional times where it is not updating), but not to fully stop. Unless there is no trading occurring, in which case the Countdown Timer will stop updating, as it is dependent on the timestamps from the exchange - unless you set the option for "Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock" to "Yes". Refer to the following: Countdown Timer 2. Refer to the following when a chart stops updating (particularly the item on Session Times) Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart 3. Are you using the "Current Price Line" study that is built into Sierra Chart? It sounds like you may not have your Session Times set properly to cover all the trading. In this case, the price in the ladder will update, but your chart bars will not. And keep in mind that the Current Price Line is going to line up to the last price of the last bar in the chart - not actually the price in the DOM (these would be the same, but not always as mentioned previously). 4. If the "Studies to Graph" is not showing anything, when you know you have studies on the chart, then this typically is caused by a lack of Windows resources. In this case, you will want to reboot your computer and just start Sierra Chart and see if this resolves the issue. 5. We need more information on what exactly you were trying to do. Are you referring to a "Study Collection"? If so, then refer to the following: Study Collections You would need to look at what studies make up that Study Collection and why you got what you did when you used it. 6. We have no idea. There is nothing wrong with our website at this time, nor has there been any time recently. We do not know why you would have it take awhile for the posting to occur.
