Thanks for the quick reply, John. been reading you for about 10 years that I have been with Sierra charts. I only trade WTI crude oil using a 1Min, 60Min and Daily: so I have attached some charts although I know you don't like people sending you them without requesting them but perhaps they will help. I have copied my Sierra Charts and installed it on a new HP laptop with the some of the results still being a mystery to me. 1. The Countdown timer still hangs up and I did go and review the settings to make sure I understood them but all times on this computer are EST although I live in Vietnam. From 18:00 at night till 17:00 the next day there are few quiet periods. 2. I went to Intraday Charts not updating and reviewed your suggestions but didn't find any solutions there. The chart stops updating and the crosshairs become frozen as well as the hand utility friezes up. I can only move the chart in it's frozen state by using the slide bar at the bottom. 3. I am using the built in current price line study and have attached a snap of the difference between where the price line study is and the actual price as highlighted in the DOM. The DOM is showing in white that price is 79.73 while the price line is just north of $80.00. Attached screens shot 3 shows that pretty well. 4.& 5. Attached screen shot #1 shows what happens when I open my study collection on the current 1Hr oil chart. It is empty. The program froze up an hour or so ago and I have no idea as to why Thanks for your review and help |
