Hello, I have sierra chart package 11 with Teton order routing and an AMP funded account. On Sierra chart I'm unable to see/trade my AMP account. In the trade window I used to be able to select the AMP account number, as well as e.g. sim1. I followed the advice on Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) which says: "When Sierra Chart is connected to your Trading service account, if the available Trade Accounts you expect to see are not listed in the Trade Account list box, then contact your trading service about this. If they add an account, you will need to reconnect to the data feed to see it listed in the list of Trade Accounts." I contacted AMP and they said it was something I should contact you about (see attached image). Apologies if I'm doing something dumb inadvertently |

... it could be this: (open Trade Window for chart) click on "M" go to "SETTINGS" uncheck "HIDE TRADE ACCOUNT LIST" |

Are you getting any accounts listed in that pulldown or is it completely blank? If blank, then try what blt suggested. Otherwise, if see Sim1, then you need to get out of "Simulation Mode" in order to be connected to your live account and select the proper account. To do this select "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" to deselect that option. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you both for your replies. "Trade Simulation Mode On" is unchecked, as is "Hide Trade Account List". The drop down list for accounts to trade is completely blank. I am using SC version 2789. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. If it would just be easier to move my money into another brokerage account, and connect that to SC, then I could do that if that would help resolve the issue. I don't know what else to try I'm afraid. Cheers, Seb |

We do not believe that this has anything to do with the brokerage you are connected to. Most commonly, with something like this, it is a Windows Operating System issue where the system is running out of resources to put information into the window properly. Please reboot your computer and only start Sierra Chart when it comes back up and see if the list is populated after that. If the list is still blank, then please get us your Trade Service Log by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you for responding. I rebooted my computer. SC instance #1 still shows nothing in the drop down menu for selecting which account to trade, instance #2 shows sim1 and sim2. The trade service log and trade activity log are both empty. To clarify, I have never traded my AMP account via sierra chart before, I have used other platforms to execute trades, if that's relevant. Though previously my AMP account was present to choose from at least. Thanks, Seb |

We had an issue with a few of the recent releases where the "Trade Service Log" and the "Message Log" were empty due to a change to the "Message Categories". Please update to the latest release in order to fix the blank "Trade Service Log". If it is still blank after the update, then select "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and set everything in that list to "Yes". Refer to the following: Message Categories Then get us the information from your Trade Service Log by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log Your Trade Activity Log will be empty with respect to your AMP account if you have not done any trades with that account. Keep in mind that the "DisplaySettings" set what you will see in the Trade Activity Log. So make sure the filters in there are set for what you want to see. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log: Common Instructions to Set Trade Activity Log Display Settings For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello again, I set all the Message Categories to Yes. I then opened a chartbook and opened an attached trade window, which still does not show anything, but now I have the following in the Trade Service Log: 2025-10-01 19:23:25.770 | TradeActivity files query time: 0.009110 seconds. It was set to SC data and not Teton, so I think my initial hypothesis was right that I'm a dumbass. I've changed it now and my AMP account number comes up within the trading window. Thanks for your help and responses John :) |

Hello, unfortunately now that I've switched my current selected service to Teton, my charts no longer load the required historical intraday data. I have my chart settings set up to load 366 days of data, but it only goes back as far as the 12th August of this year. I have the continuous contact settings as per the attached picture. This is the case with 8 chartbooks across 2 instances of SC. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks :) |

You are using the wrong symbol for Teton. Select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to take care of this. Whenever you change your service and select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings window, you will be prompted to update the symbols for your open chartbooks. You want to answer "Yes" to this, as each service uses a different symbology. If you forget, or if you open a different chartbook later (that was not open when you updated the symbols) then use the "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" option. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
