Hello
I'm a non-profiessional day trader of equities(Stocks/ETFs). Can you pls advise on the following quesions:

1) what service packages and exchange data feeds along with their pricing, that I need to leverage Sierra Charts for real-time charting including Market Profile, Volume Profile and Cumulative Volume Delta?.
Currently I trade only Stocks with TDAmeritrade as my broker. I understand you do not support TDAmeritrade integration.
Also what do I need, for trading Futures in the near future.

2) Do you provide Current Orderbook(Level 2) and OrderFlow(Time&Sales) ? I currently use Bookmap with ThinkOrSwim(w/DxFeed data feed) and want to see if you offer anything similar?

I created the account today and looks like it started Trial period.

thanks

1) In order to get the real-time data, you need to be on one of the Integrated packages (10, 11, and 12). Since you state that you want Market Profile, then you will need to be on the Advanced Package, so you will need to be on the "Integrated Advanced" package, or Package 11, which costs $46.00 per month (or you can get 10% and 20% discounts with 3-month and 6-month pre-purchase options).

2) At this time, we have two separate data feeds. One is the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape, so this has the stock data with the total volumes traded for all exchanges. This does not have the Market Depth data.

The other exchange is the NASDAQ TotalView, which only has the NASDAQ volumes, but it does have the Market Depth data.

We have have a goal to put these together, but that is a few months away. It is your choice on which one (or both) you want. Note that you can use both, as you need to specify the symbol for the NASDAQ feed with a "-NQTV" suffix and the other with the symbol itself. For example, IBM will get you the data for the Consolidated Tape and IBM-NQTV will get you the data for the NASDAQ TotalView.

In either case, you will follow the instructions at the following link to setup this data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges*

Also refer to the following information:

Hello, I'm about to transition from delayed data to live to trade through edge clear/phillip capital as the broker. I'm a first time trader so not a professional. I'm going to be using Package 11 for Teton order routing, paying $46 for the services data etc. Is there an option to pay for the CME with market depth for non-professional trading accounts at $11.50 or will this automatically be charged to my account because I've set up with my broker as an individual and non-professional trader? Basically do I need to be worried about not paying the right amount and having a lack in services somewhere? As far as I understand it should be set up already when I stated to my broker in my application that's been set up and accepted.

Thank you and apologies for the bone questions.

All the setup for Sierra Chart is handled by you - it is not done by your broker. So if you are using the Teton Order Routing Service, then you need to setup the CME Data for your account.

To do this, follow the instructions at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Just so you are aware, since this is your first time activating an exchange for the CME Group through our Denali Exchange Data Feed, the remainder of the month in which you activate the exchange is free. We just want you to be aware in case you want to wait for the first of September to activate the exchange to get the full month of September for free.

Also, the exchanges renew on a calendar month basis, so prior to the first day of each month you need to ensure that you have enough funds in your account to cover the cost of the exchange fees.

The Sierra Chart usage time renews on a rolling 31 day basis, so the exact date will change from month to month, but it is based on when you first activated your account.

Hello,

This is my first day trading live futures. Usually on SIM1 when I place an order at Bid/Ask it drops me straight into the market at that very point, then allowing my Stop loss line to appear above my sell entry point at 10 pips with my take profit below at 10 pips. This set up is working okay for me here but when I switch to my Live account when I hit the Sell option and sell into the market, it's generating my entry point about 10 pips below where I want to enter, my stop loss is already below where the market currently is. It's also taking me out of the market well before my take profit lines are, thankfully both trades I put on were turned out profitable but it's very unnerving to see my position be -250 as I hit the sell button instead of being neutral on the SIM1 account where it gradually fluctuates between profit and loss before hitting either Stoploss or Take profit lines.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to immediately enter the market where I'd like instead of placing it -10 pips behind the market?

Thank you so much.

Your issue is not about the order type you are using. The problem is that you are viewing Delayed Streaming Data and not the real-time data.

Follow the instructions at the following link to setup the real-time data for the CME Group:

Hi John, I've just had a look and signed both agreements, as I've said and proving obvious I'm new to all this and where I've signed the parts I thought needed to be done, it's listed me as a "professional" trader which I'm definitely not. Is there a way of amending this?

Thanks again.

When you are filling out the "CME Non-Professional Certification" you have answered the question of "Certified as Non-Professional" as "No". This means you are a Professional.

Please redo the "CME Non-Professional Certification" and answer "Yes" to the question in order to be considered a Non-Professional.

The agreement can be accessed here:
