Daily Continuous chart is not downloading correct data

I use a 5 minute chart, daily continuous, and weekly continuous. The 5-min and weekly have no problems; the daily chart is showing a very small range on today's candle (actual range so far is 4354 - 4401.75). See chart here:

I have clicked Edit > Delete all data and download more than once.
I have recreated the Daily chart more than once by first duplicating hte working charts and changing to daily.
The chart is still incorrect, although the it is reflecting price changes (it started as a horizontal line, then progressed to a doji, now reflects a small range).

Thanks in advance for your help.

You would have to check with your data supplier as to why you are not getting the full information. We are just displaying what we get from them.

I checked with TransAct. This problem has occurred a few times in the past (when TransAct was providing Sierra Charts and support). TransAct told me to delete contract files with the .scid extension - I did that, which has always fixed this problem in the past, but it did not fix it this time. TransAct says this is a Sierra Chart problem, that they are getting NO complaints about data.

Yesterday was the beginning of this problem; today, yesterday's candle now has the correct information, but TODAY's candle is now incorrect. I tried the remedies above again today (in fact, I deleted ALL contract files so it would download everything fresh) - but today's candle is still incorrect -- like yesterday, today's candle does not reflect the overnight range for the S&P 500 e-mini, but it updates with the fresh data going forward. And, like yesterday, the TransAct DOM DOES reflect the correct data, as do my 5-min and weekly charts.

We LOVE Sierra Charts, and have used Sierra exclusively for years. Please help. Thank you.

That data for the most recent daily bar comes from Transact. We recommend using the Denali Exchange Data Feed so you can use our data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

The only thing that we can recommend you do that may solve the problem:

Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Enable Market Depth and Daily Session Values to Yes. This is a Transact specific setting.

After that reconnect to the data feed:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

Thank you for your suggestion; I tried this, and it made no difference. My Weekly chart is also now incorrect on the current candle.

I then found this in your help pages: "Current Bar Not Updating in a Historical Chart" (No Historical Chart or Blank Chart | Historical Chart Not Updating | Missing Historical Chart Data: 6.2: Current Bar Not Updating in a Historical Chart) - I followed the instructions. There IS data reflected under Window >> Current Quote Window, but the data is incorrect. Suggestions from this section made no difference.

I right-clicked on the Daily Chart, selected "Edit/Download Data" and corrected the price range for the most recent candle (in this case, today's candle), after which the chart automatically redownloaded the data - the price on the candle once again started over with no data, and filled in as prices evolved, as it does every time I redownload the data.

The most recent candles on my Daily and Weekly charts are still incorrect, and TransAct is still receiving NO COMPLAINTS about their data.

This problem just started about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas appreciated.

You will need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed :
Denali Exchange Data Feed

We are no longer providing any support for Transact. We are fully discontinuing Transact support in December.

When you begin to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, cancel the exchange fees you pay through Transact.

Or you can move altogether away from Transact and use our new direct order routing service:

If you need help with any of the above let us know. However, we need to make it very clear, there is no further help from us for Transact. And we regret even providing the help that we did because it was just a waste of our time and your time.

Marwhitt,

Myself and two other guys are also with Infinity/Transact and use their data. We had the same issue you did.
Only way I could get the daily charts to be correct is to select "Intraday Chart" under Chart Settings and then
specify 1-0-0 for the Bar Period Type, ie. 1 day 0 minutes 0 seconds. I does take a little longer to load.
I don't know what caused the issue.
good luck!

This really should solve the problem:
Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Enable Market Depth and Daily Session Values to Yes. This is a Transact specific setting.

After that reconnect to the data feed:
File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers

We helped another user with this after you and that did resolve it for them.
