[User Discussion] - Data feed delay with SC Delayed market data and Rithmic also

Hello, I am experiencing delay in my data feed transmission and I cannot figure it out why. At first I thought is because of the Rithmic data feed, but then I switched to Sierra Chart's delayed data feed to see if it still happens. As you can see in the videos provided the Bar Timer is lagging in both cases. I tried to set the update time for the specific chart from 10ms to 250ms and its the same result. I don't see more power usage from the SC in Task Manager. I deleted the data files from my SC/Data folder, I have a continuous LAN connection with 1000mpbs. Do you have any suggestion about it? BTW, The problem first showed on last Friday (13.08.2021) and from then is mostly lagging, with small (couples of minute-maybe half an hour) timeframe when it's not. Okay, so I did that right now, and it's connected (I remember I did it first time I saw the lag in data feed also). The problem is that it's only downloading history for the historical type charts and none for the intraday charts. It starts printing bar after bar, but only from the time it's connected. |

Let me be clear on what I want to do with SC and what I don't understand: I have an account with earn2trade.com prop firm and for it to be considered I have to be connected to Rithmic. If I connect with my credentials from Rithmic to SC using the old version (RIM Folder DTC Bridge) then I get to have all the history downloaded but I have a data feed lag problem, but if I connect with the new version Rithmic-DTC and I copy/paste the exact credentials for "Server" "Market Data" and "Historical Data" I don't get the intraday historical data. I only get the information for when I had the SC opened. You are telling me to activate Denali Data Feed (which is $10/month) and I'll have the historical data AND also no LAG on data feed. In this case I should be connected to Denali Data Feed, but cannot connect to Rithmic and that is the end point I want to do. What's the solution for this situation, because I cannot see it. Or is there something I don't know about SC functionality regarding this topic? Thank you |

We really apologize. This is a sad never-ending situation due to CME market data rules. We want to provide high quality and easy to use and reliable service but those rules constantly interfere with being able to do that and make it impossible to achieve in some cases. You need to be on a Service Package which includes the Denali data feed which you are and you also have to activate the exchanges that you require. The problem is you also have to verify you have a Live funded trading account, and earn2trade.com is not going to work. Ok, now let me be clear about what I understood. I will open an account on AMP, after that I’ll fund the account with $100. I will verify the AMP account with CME to be eligible for non-professional trader. After this, I will activate the Denali Exchange Data Feed for $10/month. On my computer, I will connect to Rithmic - DTC server so I can place my orders through them and to make them count for evaluation. Sierra Chart knows how to interact with the Data Feed from Denali Exchange wile being connected to Rithmic-DTC. I will not have to open a second instance of Sierra Chart or RTrader Pro to place the orders. Did I get that right? Thank you |

Hello again, So I've made all of the above. I opened an AMP Account and I entered the account no here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=AMPTradingAccountVerification&UserID=234587 and after that on my status I get: Not Verified. I have completed the agreements for CME and they were accepted. When I try to connect to Data/Trade Service to SC/TT Futures Order Routing I get the error: Trade account not assigned Am I doing something wrong? Thank you P.S. You need to talk to AMP about this. They must not have your account setup for the verification yet. When I try to connect to Data/Trade Service to SC/TT Futures Order Routing I get the error: Trade account not assigned
You should not be using the SC/TT Futures Order Routing, as you are not setup for that. You need to have your service setup for Rithmic, since that is the order routing service you are using with the prop firm. P.S. I'm still using the Rithmic Data Service with the bridge files from "RIM" folder :-|

Hi again, So I have talked with AMP and made all the clarifications needed to be done. Now I can connect to CQGwebapi to confirm that my account is on and active and it works. Still, I have a question, on my AMP control panel I have an account number and on SC after I connect to CQGwebapi server I have other number set for my trade account. I'm trying to use SC connected to Rithmic as it goes here: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions When using intraday type charts (M1 to H4), for some reason I only get the history from this month only. If I switch to the older version of Rithmic (with RIM folder bridge solution) all works well. As I understood, now that I have activated my Denali Exchage Data feed with CME I should be able to use that Data feed for analysis and still be able to place orders via Rithmic account. Is there something else I need to do to be able the have the history and DOM information from Denali and also be able to place orders via Rithimc? Thank you |

In regards to post #17: We cannot help with Rithmic historical data. For complete, long-term (10+ years), high speed, and reliable historical data you need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed *And* you need to enable the appropriate exchanges with the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the exchanges you need data for. In this case, both the historical and real-time data will come from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Once again we cannot provide any help with Rithmic historical data and do not ask us further questions about that. If you are using one of these funding evaluator trading accounts through Rithmic, those are not entitled to be able to use the nonprofessional CME fees. In regards to post #18 No, it's not working! When I press the sell/buy button it automatically enables the Simulation mode. In regards to post #19 and #6, #12, #13, I have activated the CME data feed plan via SC Control Panel, you can verify it. You told me earlier in this post, that if I have Denali Exchange (which I have), I should create a AMP Clearing account (which I did), Fund it (which I did), set the account no. to my SC Control Panel (which I did), Activate CME DATA (which I did), aaand theen I will be able to have live Denali Data Feed AND still placing order via SC to my Rithmic account. You can verify that in post #13. NOW, I'm in the same situation as in post #1 after I did EVERYTHING you said I need to do in order to have live denali data feed with no lagging problem. Why did you make me waste 1 week or so doing all of this if you still tell me it's Rithmic's problem? What am I missing? P.S.
