Greetings from December 23, I have changed how I see my pre market and the cash session, the pre market looks much bigger, this is affecting my analysis.
I'm going to give you some pictures so you know what I'm talking about. In the images the light gray color corresponds to the pre market and the dark gray color corresponds to the cash session.

What is the timeframe of the chart?

What are your Session Times and Time Zone set to?

From Google Translate:
Greetings the time period of the images that I sent is a graph of 10946 transactions.

Session times are 9:30 am to 4:00 pm New York time

We assume you are using the Evening Session option to define your Pre-Market. If this is correct, then make sure that your Session Times are entered properly. Given what you stated for the Day Session Times, make sure your times are entered as follows:
Day Session Start: 09:30:00
Day Session End: 15:59:59
Evening Session Start: 16:00:00
Evening Session End: 09:29:59

For more information, refer to the following:
Chart Session Times

We also recommend using the option New Bar at Session Start if you are not already doing so. Otherwise, the bar will not close until the full number of trades has completed even if it crosses between Evening and Day sessions. Refer to the information here:
Chart Settings: New Bar at Session Start (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Intraday Chart Session Times menu)

Follow the instructions at this link to attach the Chartbook to this thread:

We understand why you are asking the question, and we do not know why you are seeing more data in the overnight session, which is why we want to see your Chartbook, so we can see if there is something about your setup that is causing an issue.

To attach a file to a message on the Support Board:

1. Sierra Chart support may request you to attach files. These files are located in the Sierra Chart Data Files Folder folder on your system (\SierraChart\Data). To find the location of this folder, select Global Settings >> General Settings on the Sierra Chart menu. The folder is displayed in the box named: Data Files Folder.

2. If support asks you for a Chartbook file, the file extension for these types of files is cht. Support may ask you for a chartbook file for testing purposes. Do know that these Chartbooks do not contain any private information although your chart setups will be known, but we do not pay any attention to those other than for the purpose of diagnosing a problem. Generally we just need a chartbook with one or two charts to demonstrate a problem.

3. Below the area on the Support Board where you are typing your message in reply to an existing posting or when you are starting a New Support Request, you will see a button named Add/Edit Attached Files. Press this button. This will open a new Upload Files pop-up web browser window. Keep in mind that it might appear on another monitor based upon your browser configuration. Refer to the images to the right.

4. In the Upload Files window (see images to the right), press the Browse button and navigate to the folder that contains the file that you want to attach. Select the file and press the Open button on the Open File window.

5. Press the Upload button to attach the requested file.

6. It is possible to set an uploaded file as private, which will only make it available to you and to Sierra Chart support. To do this, click on the Make Private link for the relevant file.

7. When you press the Submit / Submit New Reply button below the message box, the message will be posted along with the attachments.

The issue is probably related to a market data issue from CQG.

Refer to the following information:

-----
We are no longer as of December 28, 2020 providing the Sierra Chart provided historical data service for CQG or Interactive Brokers users. For more information, refer to this Support Board thread:
Jan 1, 2021 Changes to Historical Data: Interactive Brokers, CQG

Also refer to this post for steps that you need to do now:
Jan 1, 2021 Changes to Historical Data: Interactive Brokers, CQG | Post: 245144

The solution to this problem is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for CME and EUREX (Upcoming in January 2021) data. Step-by-step instructions are here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

The first calendar month of this data feed is free. Let us know if you need help with the set up and we will help you through all of the steps.

In the case of CQG you will then need to contact your broker and cancel CME and EUREX exchange fees through your CQG account so you do not pay exchange fees twice. You definitively do not have to pay any market data exchange fees through your brokerage account to CQG. This is not required.

For other exchanges (ICE, HKFE) you need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

As an alternative to CQG, we recommend using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

In regards to using CQG provided historical data, we definitely do not recommend using that. It has an additional cost of 25 USD per month. The data delivery is slow and inefficient and causes Sierra Chart to freeze during the processing of it. Only 5 days of tick data is supported from CQG. And only current futures contracts are provided.

Whereas with Sierra Chart provided data feeds, you will have access to 10+ years of reliable high-speed delivered tick by tick data. Once again we do not advise using CQG historical data and it will not work well with Sierra Chart. And we also provide no technical help or support for any CQG provided historical data or real-time data.
