I logged on yesterday, 11/22/20 at 4:50pm pst (16:50), when doing so the data for all my futures commodities on all my charts started at 16:45. there was no data showing for the futures open at 15:00 to 16:45. and this morning I logged on at 5:25am and there is a gap in data missing the 5:20 candle on the 5 minute chart on all commodities or on all charts. any reason this is happening? To try to be more clear, when logging on this morning, the data is still missing from 15:00 to 16:40, then it is present from 16:45 to 5:15, missed the 5:20 candle and now is loading normal...

Tell us one of the symbols for which you are having a problem. Also let us know what your Session Times are set to and the Time Zone of the chart.

If you can attach a screenshot, that would be helpful as well. You can follow these instructions to attach a screenshot:

There was an issue with Transact historical data earlier.

Follow the instructions here:

I was able to get the data from the listed info. However, I just rolled to a new contract on copper, hgh1, and I have missing data on the intraday chart but not on the historical daily. On the intraday, it goes from 10/21/20 and then gaps to 11/23/20. I've attached a pic to show what I mean. I did try Delete and Download Data, but I get the same results.

In regards to the issue of the missing data on rollover, this problem is occurring on all symbols for the exact date range as noted previously when switching to the March contract. I am using the specific contract and not the continuous. Are there rollover rules/settings that may be causing this? I prefer to trade off of the specific contract and not the continuous.

What symbol are you looking at and what days are missing?

Also, if you can include a screenshot it would be helpful. Follow these instructions to get us a screenshot:

The first thing to do is to set this Chart Settings option to None:
Chart Settings: Continuous Contract (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

And then follow the instructions here to re-download any missing data:

Thanks for the response, but that didn't resolve the issue. I find it peculiar that this is on all commodities that rolled to the H month. My broker, TransAct Futures suggested to use the continuous contract, is this somehow a transact issue?

In the case of Transact for that symbol, the starting date is: 2019-12-08.

Follow the below procedure to clear out the prior historical data which should not be there:

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

And then if you need more historical data in the chart use this feature:

After deleting all data and downloading, the gap in data is still there. This gap is only occurring on the intra day charts and not the historical. Is it possible I have something set up wrong on my Chart Settings?

That data should not even exist before the gap. Tell us the exact menu command you are selecting to re-download the data.

I go to the chart (which is an intraday chart), select Edit>Delete All Data and Download. When I click it, a window opens that asks to confirm intraday data download for ESH1 starting at 00:00:00, I clicked yes.
Upon completing the download the gap is still present.
In a previous response, you all mentioned that the start date for this symbol in TransAct is 2019/12/08, does this date need to be inputted somewhere in the chart settings?

You are definitely using the right command.

The starting date for that contract is going to be : 2019-12-08. You can also set that as the starting date in the chart through this setting:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html#UseDateRangeFromTo

You should not be seeing any data earlier than that date if the chart is not set to be a continuous futures contract chart. If you are, which would not really makes sense, then try deleting the data file following this procedure:
Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Deleting a Chart Data File
