is it possible to copy a study with parameters set from a sub-chart to another chart? For example I have numbers bars calculated values configured with only the values I use set to display in chart region 2. I would like to copy that study with my parameters to another chart. thanks in advance |

There are a few ways to do this, but there is not a direct copy utility to copy the study to another chart. Option 1 (recommended method) - Study Collection: Save the study as a Study Collection, then apply this to the other chart. Refer to the information here: Study Collections: Introduction Option 2 - Duplicate Chart: Duplicate the chart that has the study on it, then change the symbol (or other items) as needed. Refer to the information here: Using Chart Templates: Duplicating Charts / Template Charts Option 3 - Study Defaults: Set the study as you want and save it as the defaults for that study. Then apply that study to the other chart, where it will be added with those default settings. Hi there, the open price line is not precise for me because I have candles in volume. So I duplicated my VWAP-day chart to move it to M1 and apply a line with the precise open price. Is it possible to copy this study onto my WVAP-day volume chart? In other words, just as the drawings are copied, can I do it with a studie? |
