Hi I am about to subscribe to your Futures data and order routing service, but after reading extensively all of the pages, there are so many moving parts I'd like to make sure I am clear on how things work and how to set it up properly because I'm a bit confused. I am using Amp Trading as my broker, so I'd like to set things up in such a way that I am paying the lowest cost without paying for redundant data.

1. I should subscribe through my broker Amp to use SC which is free?
2. Once subscribed, I should then subscribe to the TT data feed through you guys, or through Amp?
3. Once subscribed to the TT feed, then I should contact you to connect my SC account with the TT feed?
4. Now when I place a trade, who do I pay the exchange fees to?
5. How and what is the web based trading panel and how does it work with the SC? (screenshot possibly)
6. I am a spread trader, so to see my overall position p&l for an exchange traded spread, can I see that in SC?
7. Will I have to pay to use the TT software through Amp also in order for SC to login to the TT data feed.

Sorry for all the questions, but I was just hoping to get a bit more clarification on how to proceed and what steps are necessary. Thanks.

Yes I've seen that link given about the trading panel, but is the web based trading panel a browser based panel, and what features does it have? Would it be possible to see a screenshot to give an idea of whether it's something I can use? Very little info is available on it.

Thanks again

Hi rwilliams1, can you tell us why you are considering using the TT Based Order Routing collaboration? Have you heard feedback from others related to the quality? I see you are currently not a Sierra Chart user.

Yes no problem. I'm not currently subscribed to SC, but I've been using the software for many years now and it was suggested by your tech support in a previous ticket of mine that I use your data and order routing services for futures trading. I'm about to subscribe again and get back to trading so I'm just looking for the simplest most direct way to trade futures spreads.

Are there any advantages or differences between using the Denali feed and the SC data feed? Would it be possible to post a screenshot of the web based trading panel?

Is the focus of your trading within the CME Group Exchanges (CBOT, CME, COMEX, and NYMEX)?

Yes those are the only exchanges I will be trading.

To use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, follow the instructions on this page:

Denali Exchange Data Feed

And yes there is a trial available. However, really if you want to do a trial we recommend using the delayed exchange data feed instead which is available at no additional cost or funded trading account requirement:

So just to be clear.

1. So is it only the Denali data feed that offers the two week trial for $5, or does SC Real time data also have the same trial? I don't mind paying the $5 for real time data.

2. How many minutes is the delayed data delayed?

3. Which feeds require a funded account to start a real time trial?

Thanks.

Our apologies rwilliams1, Sierra Chart is a very inexpensive product; many people support our development and out of respect to them, you would need to subscribe to continue with questions.

I don't understand this position. I have been a customer for many years, and I am asking a few simple questions so that I can subscribe to not only the SC software but your data feed as well, and you can't take the time to answer a couple of basic questions to help me make a purchase decision? This makes no sense!

Our apologies, its a rule that we have to not answer questions on expired accounts, but we have helped in this thread. Please accept this. Additionally you are free to read our documentation.

I'm obviously asking questions because I want to subscribe. But if you won't answer a couple of basic questions about the subscription that I can't find in the documentation, how am I suppose to subscribe?

The documentation we linked to in post #10 does answer these questions.

For the question about the trading account requirement, refer to:
