Hi, I am a european trader with a transactfutures account. Since Monday I have problems trading around 9:30 / 10:30 am, new york time (15:30 / 16:30 in Italy). The problem concerns connection issues, incorrect graphs, delays in graphs and inability to use the SC program during that specific hour. What can I do?

Perhaps change your data feed for : Denali Exchange Data Feed And use only trasact for order fil. Other at the same problem : Denali with TransAct order execution Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-02-27 15:43:53

You are using an externally provided data feed that is not from Sierra Chart and that is where the problem is. The recommended solution is as follows: Update Sierra Chart to the latest version following these instructions: Software Download: Fast Update Enable Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Disable Market Data Connection. Follow the instructions to activate and pay for the Denali Exchange Data Feed including the relevant exchanges: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* You will not have the described problem with the Denali Exchange Data Feed. ---- Now we have heard from Transact about the issue and they have given us some things to work on which will reduce bandwidth for the feed which they say will help. So those are going to be released over the next week. we will have one release out, we think today or tomorrow with one improvement. For users who are using the Transact data feed and having issues with the data feed we want you to update to prerelease version 2058 following the instructions here: Software Download: Fast Update Make sure you update to the pre-release. There should be some amount of improvement because market depth data by default will no longer be requested from the Transact system. There is another improvement coming out later today. Thanks. one question about "market depth data by default will no longer be requested from the Transact system". With this new version, will it be possible to trade directly from the chart as before using transact as broker?

There is one additional performance improvement Transact has asked us to implement which is not yet out. It is this one which is likely to make the most difference.

Hi Sierra Chart Engineering, the pre release 2058 is a little better than the 2056 version about the issues. Yesterday and today the problems have lessened. No disconnections, but today, at 10 am new york time, during volatility explosion, same lag of data and incorrect graphs for about 30 minutes. Yesterday was ok. How's the work on 2059 version? We did get 2059 out last evening but without the latest change that Transact asked us to do because it was more involved than expected. We are working on it this evening.

@Sierra Chart Engineering Is 2060 the resolutive version about connections issues and data delay that has the changes transact asked you to do? If yes, there are somethings to set for transact customers? Thanks |

We did release version 2061 with the other performance improvement requested by Transact. In our opinion, there would be some improvement but we do not think this is going to make the reported issues all go away. You just need to update. There are no special settings required.
