We should be able to release delayed CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX data effective this evening when using the SC Data-All Services service, when through one of the Sierra Chart provided data feeds( Denali/ Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed) you do not have the exchange fee paid for the particular CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX symbol you want real-time data for. Or you are not using one of those data feeds at all. There is no additional cost at this time for this data.

This is really important for us, because we get questions every single day about users who are new using Sierra Chart and they wonder why they are not getting streaming data in Sierra Chart for these exchanges or not seeing market depth data. This service will be providing full market depth data.

Dear Support,

Does this mean that Sierra will come with this data (delayed with depth) even when somenone uses SC without being subscribed to any live datafeeds (SC Package 5 + SC Data-All Services)?

Also can you please confirm if recording of market depth data will be supported on this delayed feed?

This could be a game changer to anyone who wants to learn OF reading and practicing on streaming delayed or replayed prices.

Thank you.

Yes but there still is a cost consideration. It is possible that due to server and network load we may decide that this feature is only available on our Advanced package.

Also can you please confirm if recording of market depth data will be supported on this delayed feed?
Yes of course.

This could be a game changer to anyone who wants to learn OF reading and practicing on streaming delayed or replayed prices.
Yes we are fully aware of this.

In my opinion, adding this as an included feature to the Service Pack 5 makes 100% sense, since some of the advanced features/tools (like Historical Market Depth Graph) are linked to this package.

Can't wait to test this - I am just going to re-create/update my DOM/Heatmap/Replay/Depth-recording related instructional videos soon and I want to clearly include this information.

Update:

The release of the delayed data, is going to be delayed until we finish with some legal related review related to this. Not sure how long this will take. It could be two weeks.

Dear Support,
Do you plan or see any possibilities to include EUREX markets as well in this delayed offering?
Thank you.

No we do not think we can do that anytime soon. That particular exchange is provided in cooperation with Barchart which limits possibilities like this.

Regarding the release of delayed data, there is going to be a delay. We hope it will come out in October. It is getting delayed due to legal compliance reasons. We are determined to get this out as soon as possible.

So if I understand correctly, a sierrachart user does not have the trading account with a common broker has the possibility to have the data delayed, only if he buys an advanced package 5?

We are going to be able to deliver the delayed streaming data. It does carry a substantial cost for us. But it is worth it. But it will only be available on the Sierra Chart Advanced Package 5.

We are still working through this, there are several legal aspects that still need to be done. We do not anticipate this to get out until November. The CME still does require reporting even for delayed users.

The trading method I'm developing makes extensive use of Sierra market statistics, for example TICK-NQ and TICK-NASDAQ when trading the NQ.
Any chance there will be a way in Sierra to synchronize these to the delayed CME datafeed, so that the last tick value displayed in a chart is synchronized with the time of the last (delayed) NQ tick received?
I suppose I can write an ACSIL study to accomplish this, but it would be lovely to have it as a native Sierra feature.

Well, if this is not already supported with the Add Additional Symbol study, we can certainly make that work. This should not be difficult at all.

Hello support is there any update on timescale for release?

We hope it will be this week. One thing that may take us a while is adding expired futures contracts historical data. But we can certainly offer the current contracts in the near term.
