I had version 1953 and everything was fine. I downloaded the current version 1962 and now whenever I click the screeN I a "enter text" dialog box that pops up. I have attached a video.

You need to select a different tool other than the Text tool. Select Tools >> Pointer instead.

But what if I want to add text? If I choose that tool it crashes Sierra.

Spoke with customer and found that the real issue is that when he runs Sierra Chart in full screen mode using a Remote Desktop System where the home monitor is 4k resolution, Sierra Chart becomes unresponsive. We traced through the issue and found that it was related to a third party study that was slowing down the system as it was added to additional charts.

The user can run the software the way he wants in less than full screen mode and we will contact the developer of the study to let them know what we saw.

John, can you call me back tomorrow. I want to know how to roll back to 1953 where everything was fine and see if that does it.

I figured out how to rollback to Sierra version 1953.

After rolling back I have 11 charts all with Inteligex running. Every thing runs fine on both monitors. This is definitely a Sierra issue with version 1962.

Understand that we charge $0.75 for remote assistance support. We did not charge you because we did not realize the issue involved a custom study. Any further remote assistance support will be chargeable. And we only do this in our available time.

This is definitely a Sierra issue with version 1962.
If the issue is related to higher than normal CPU usage due to charts updating more often , then this is resolved in 1964 and 1967. Stay on the version you are running or you can update to version 1967.

1968 seems to work on all screens.

Please look at the attached screenshot. I couldn’t trade the ES live today. This trade that has supposedly been on since 7/26. Even if that was possible as I have been flat many times.

Look at what it says in the green box! +1 @0.00E|P/L: 0.00P. I clicked flatten all positions and it did go away.

I don't think it's possible to even put that trade on.

To add to the previous post.

I think it's important to point out that the fill for that trade was at "zero". If you need any logs to investigate please let me know.

We see you are using the TT order routing. Refer to the information of an incident on August 2 about this:
TT Order Routing issue 2019-08-02

There were no phantom trades. Any orders you submitted, would have been processed and executed.

And that Position quantity should be accurate. It does make sense there was no average price due to the issue:
Look at what it says in the green box! +1 @0.00E|P/L: 0.00P.

We will get back to you on this. We want to run some tests first. There appears to be 2 missing order fills for your account from Friday.

Please contact your broker and confirm you are currently flat the market. This is what we see according to what is reported by TT, but double check this.

We apologize for the delay. The Position Average Price is calculated from the order fills and if there is a missing order fill it can result in the average price being zero. Due to a problem on Friday August 2, 2019, there were some missed fills with the TT order routing. We did work on recovering them from TT but apparently we did not get all of them.

They do have another database we can pull information from and we are going to work on that. For now we can provide a ticket to you, with the fills we see since that position originated and then you can let us know the details about the fill that is missing and we can insert it manually for now.
