MY DATA IS NOT REFRESHING AND HAVE CHECKED EVERY POSS SOLUTION

I just opened acct w Sierra. I opened my acct with IB, had a wonderful tech guy install my trading platform, signed up for the live data, paid the cme $6 a month for data, and when I open my Sierra acct I get a correct green banner. I get the Interactive Brokers name on top, I have check the data all port numbers are correct, and the chart initially comes up correct. BUT THEN IT JUST SITS THERE no updates and the data is about 10 min delayed...so what is wrong. Again, I am green connected and have checked settings.

Hello Again, God I am proud of myself as I am so stupid re computers, and we are almost there. The data is still delayed by 10 min. Is this an IB issue? Perhaps as I just signed up for live data maybe it takes a day for it to begin? Other than that(which is big haha) I have downloaded all the chartgroups friends have sent and its all great. I am so sorry to bother you once again, but all my data is 10 min late. Thank you so very much!!! |

Yes it does sound like an Interactive Brokers market data subscription issue. Refer to: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Market Data Not Subscribed Through Interactive Brokers However, we really should look at the Message Log to confirm this.
