Today upon startin my charts with transact, I was informed that a new Version was available, so I went through the routine and updated. The update seem to have a problem modifying Vertical rays.in that the vertical rays do not seem to select to be modified color, width etc, this happens only to vertical rays not the slanted rays or horizontal rays, or any othe drawings. Any suggestions thanks. tried to revert to previous version to no avail.

We are aware of an issue related to changes we made to how to detect the selection of a chart drawing in a recent update and we are working on it. This is more pronounced if you are using a high resolution monitor (4k). You should be able to select the drawing regardless, but you may need to be very precise about being on the line.

One other way to help select the ray is to select the Ray where the anchor points are located. In particular, the beginning of the ray line.

We are looking into this. This is a special case involving vertical lines.

one other problem I noticed is one chart in my chartbook the 5m chartseem consistently to revert back to 1 minute, a few seconds after it loads to 5 minutes it reverts back to 1 minute. any thought or help on this issue? i hate to delete the chart because of the related studies I have on it including some overlays of studies in the 5 min chart to other time charts.

Could you help provide any linking issues I may inadvertently have clicked in the 5 m chart that resultes in this problem?

With regards to post #5, first check to make sure that the chart is not linked for Bar Period. To do this, go to Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2 and check the linking options on the right. You will find the documentation for this here:Chart Settings: Chart Linking (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu)

Most likely it is a study reference issue. Refer to the documentation regarding this here: Unable to Change the Bar Time Period for Charts

Refer to:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.3 - Charts Reloading Often

And when doing overlays between different timeframe per bar charts, you will want to use the Study/Price Overlay study.

Thank you that did it. 5mt chart now stays at 5mt. Iremoved two overlay studies from the 5 mt to the 1mtchart, and that stopped the reloading of the 5m chart to 1mt..
Question im my mind is that I have other overlayed studies from the 5mt chart into the 1mt chart that are not doing the same. how come? is it caused by tne number of overlays or specific issues withe studies I deleted that were the cause? Thw ones I deleted were the latest pverlays I had done so it was easy.
the Charts>>chart settings routine referenced the 1 mt chart but not the specific study thas was the probleem.
Thanks anyway

The documentation explains quite clearly the reason for the issue. We are not going to answer anything further about this. This is why we write documentation. We will not restate the documentation.
