Thank you that did it. 5mt chart now stays at 5mt. Iremoved two overlay studies from the 5 mt to the 1mtchart, and that stopped the reloading of the 5m chart to 1mt.. Question im my mind is that I have other overlayed studies from the 5mt chart into the 1mt chart that are not doing the same. how come? is it caused by tne number of overlays or specific issues withe studies I deleted that were the cause? Thw ones I deleted were the latest pverlays I had done so it was easy. the Charts>>chart settings routine referenced the 1 mt chart but not the specific study thas was the probleem. Thanks anyway
