Daily change % values not correct

Hi, I've noticed that sometimes the values for Daily Change % on the Quoteboard are not correct. This doesn't happen every day, maybe once a week. For example today the Daily Change % value for AUDUSD is currently 0.33% but the chart shows the AUDUSD is so far down for the day. I've noticed this issue mainly in the FX Indexes values, which often (maybe once a week) show values that are too high (whether positive or negative). Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks. Not sure why that is incorrect. Currently we are seeing -.55%. We checked both of our servers and they give a consistent value. Reconnect to the data feed: File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers So at this point we are not sure why there is a problem and we would not expect there to be an issue at least on the Quote Board. On the chart perhaps there could be data which is not up-to-date and that can be corrected with this command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Download Data For All Historical Charts When you notice this on the quote board for one of the FX Indexes, let us know. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will follow the reconnect procedure and see what happens. In terms of the FX Indexes - I believe they are showing this behaviour today. For e.g. JPY-X is showing a 7.24% increase in the screenshot attached to the opening post. This is a very large increase and isn't typical. I believe the JPY-X has increased about 0.6% today at time of writing and at the time of the screenshot. Most of the other indices are also showing large % increase or decrease for the day. Thanks. |

We are definitely not observing any issue here. You need to understand how those calculations are done. Hi SC, I've noticed today we have the same issue with the quoteboard %change values I highlighted above. You correctly pointed out at the time that the values are in fact correct, but having read the links you provided I note that it is the Previous Close values that are incorrect. Attached are two screenshots showing the quoteboard values, which are correct but based on incorrect Previous Close values as can be seen in the Current Quote window also in the screenshots. I also noted that the last time I highlighted this was on a Monday (23rd July) so maybe it has something to do with the opening of the new week (or maybe it's just coincidence). Thanks. |
