Unable to receive real data

Hi there,

I have just switched to Sierra recently, and I'm on free trial package for now to see how it works.
It says in your website that "real time and historical forex and cfd data service" is included in trial package, however in my Sierra the charts are only available until the date I downloaded Sierra, and I can't see any new data after that, (7th Jan 2016). I have chosen "SC data- all service" in "data/trade service setting", could you help me to have a look and guide me how to receive real data please?

What markets do you need data for or want to trade? For example, what particular futures, Forex or stock symbols. You can also give us the exchanges that the particular symbol or symbols trade on.

When I opened Sierra, a window pop up saying "Failed to open the configuration file when saving. Configuration not saved. Error: Windows error code 5: Access is denied." Not sure if this is relevant but apparently something is wrong??

Yes, this is the problem:

5. You are going to go nowhere with this. If you are not happy with the situation, please send a complaint to the futures exchanges.

If you want futures data, there are fees associated with that. It is not free.

Some exchanges do provide free trials of data. EUREX might be one of them, but currently Sierra Chart is not set up with that and the process of obtaining the data is not a simple procedure. There will be forms to fill out, and we will still require a payment of 5 dollars.

Free trial capability, we expected will be released later this month.

But in general, it should not be expected that a free trial of futures data is easy to come by.
