Good afternoon
Is there any way I can get remote assistance because I’m not able to trade obviously that’s why I’m here. My rhythmic was working just fine after switching to SC data and back. It stopped working. My mouse doesn’t move. My screens are frozen and I have six digit scale value for ES. I kindly request timely assistance with this as I mentioned, I’m not able to trade and I was not able to trade today as well. I’d like to get this fixed by tomorrow thank you.

Good morning just one more thing. I think this happened when I changed the market depth levels so I added the limit orders showing in buy sell it was working fine for a while. It just happened the other day.

And when I log into rhythmic platform, not Sierra under the order book, there’s no data it doesn’t show anything and when I open the chart on rhythmic platform, there’s no price scale numbers. There’s no data coming in it just showing the bid and to ask that’s it so this is something on rhythmic platform?

You are not setup to get any real-time data from us. So when you are connected to "SC Data" or one of the "Trading Evaluator" options, you are getting our Delayed Streaming Data.

But, when you are connected to Rithmic, they the system is looking to get the data from Rithmic. If you are not seeing anything, then check to make sure you entered the "Market Data" and "Historical Data" Username/Password information on the "Data/Trade Service Settings".

If those are entered and correct, then check with your broker to ensure you are setup to get data from Rithmic.

Also, if you are getting an error on your Sierra Chart when connecting to Rithmic, then let us know what the error states.

Hi John, thank you but when I try connecting, it says not responding as I mentioned my mouse freezes, but when I connect to any other data to feed, it works even when I move my mouse it’s very slow or it’s frozen. Kindly advise when you say I don’t have data with you. I looked at it. I think I do or are you saying if I purchase more data than this should fix the problem with rhythmic

You are not setup to get any real-time data from us. You do not have any exchanges active. The last time you had an exchange active with us for the CME Group was in December 2025.

Start Sierra Chart in "Safe Mode" by following these instructions:
Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode

If not already connected to Rithmic, then connect to Rithmic.

Let us know if your software locks up in this case or if you are able to work with it.

On the "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings" window, are the "Market Data" and "Historical Data" fields filled in with a Username/Password or are these blank?

If they are blank, then please enter the same Username/Password that you have in the Trading fields above those in both of these items. Then let us know if that resolves anything.

Yeah, they’re filled out and I compared them and it’s exactly the same. It’s not a problem logging in. It’s a problem with the data I think but it’s driving me nuts lol

OK, so basically the chart book that I use every day whenever I open this one it stops working but when I open a different chart book it works, but this is my main chart book

So I have one chart book that’s only the DON this one works but but the other chart books don’t work. I don’t know why they were working fine for example the price on this one is 7539 right now on the scale on the other charts, it’s like a six digit number.

But for example, on the DOM, the price is correct but when I open a chart separately, it gives me your number like 755,599. I don’t know if we’re gonna be able to figure this out honestly

Hey John, so out of 10 chart books only one DOM works, but when I opened the chart for it, it’s the six digit numbers with no data and it freezes or if I open another chart book any of them it completely stops working the screen turns white, the mouse freezes, and everything locks up. I just thought maybe this would help us figure it out.

Please do the following:
- Select "Global Settings >> Symbol Settings".
- In the upper left corner is an option for "Use Custom Symbol Settings Values", disable this option.
- Restart Sierra Chart

Let us know if that resolves the issue.

Oh just one last thing bro so it works, but I don’t see my limit orders in the buy and sell columns. It was set at 10 rows to show the limit orders pending. Do you think this has something to do with it or can you send me instructions on how to add that? Thanks again man thank you

Just so you are aware, the solution we gave you for the Symbol Settings means that you had made some changes to the symbol settings that caused an issue. We assume you had a reason for the changes, so you will want to check into what you changed and be careful if you try to update them again.

Refer to the following, specifically Step #6 to remove the customized symbol settings and then you can set the option for "Use Custom Symbol Settings" to be enabled again and update symbol settings.

As to the Market Depth data, you would need to check with your broker and see if you are setup to get that data from Rithmic, our best guess is that you are not.

But, if you are supposed to be getting that data from Rithmic, and it is not showing, then refer to the following:
