Hi, i am looking to download/export candle stick price history along with volume and volume delta and i am wondering how far bacck can i download (with volume/volume delta) as on some other platforms volume delta only goes back for 2 weeks. Also how far back can i download on the free version as well as the paid versions? thanks |

The Volume Delta would have to be calculated (i.e. a study added for the information you want) and then can be exported with the bar data. Refer to the following option in particular for what you are stating: Edit Menu: Edit >> Export Bar and Study Data to Text File You can get the information for as far back as we have data. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service: What is Included While on a trial you have limited data access, so you can only get 10 days of data to export. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Trial Account But any paid package will give you access to the all the historical data. You are on Package 3 for one month. If you do not add any funds to your account, then you would not renew. But we have set your package renewal choice to "Disabled", so even if you did have the funds, it would not renew. If you have the Bar Numbering study on the chart, and you are using the "Edit >> Export Bar and Study Data to Text File" option, then the Bar Numbering information will be in the file. We just tested this to ensure it is working properly, and it is. The one item of note is that for the bars where a number is not displayed, you will get a zero (0) in the file. This is how Sierra Chart works - items that have zero values are not displayed. So you may want to set the Bar Numbering study to display numbers on every bar. Hi, i have followed ChatGPT instructions as i am trying to download tick data for ES continuous for 5 years but i see it only loads up a couple months which i assume is only the current contract. Is there a way for me to download 5 years of tick data for ES? |

So i have added the (Volume value area lines) and i can see the lines plotted on the chart make no sense as price never traders at levels where VAL/VAH is shown so im guessing its something to do with the settings. also the bar poc is also all misplaced i am using the continuous contract as per your last response and i am hoping the VAH/VAL/POC and bar POC data can be downloaded with the chart data export. You have the Input for "Reference Periods Back" set to "1". So the data for a period is displaying the information from the previous period. If you want to view the data for that actual period, then set that Input to "0".
