Strange but after I changed my monitors from a 27inch to 32inch, Sierrachart has been taking around 45 seconds to load. Tried on version v2657 and v2813 The newest v2887 is giving me an error while logging in saying : Timeout error. There was no response. I am assuming this has got to do something with new update. |

I don’t understand but how am i able to login to my already previously installed SC but get an error on the newly installed SC? Also, I run my windows on a separate SSD with 12th gen i9 processor and SC on a separate SSD, so idk why all of a sudden my already installed SC is taking 45 seconds to load while it was before taking not more than 15 seconds |

Nothing has been changed to my computer except for the monitor change. There is no performance issue, no screen lag or anything as such. Just that when i load SC it takes about 45 seconds at the “verifying” state which once was taking quite less. I might could be mistaken but idk if taking 45 seconds to load is normal or not

So you are saying that the login, is where you have the delay? If it happens on a particular instance of Sierra Chart it is because it is being blocked by firewall software on your computer.

Yes it was happening for pretty much every installation of SC in my computer and the versions were 2657 or 2813. So i then installed a fresh SC (v2887) to see if it persists but on the new install and i was getting the error while logging in. This was yesterday and today all everything is back to normal. all installations logging in as usual and also the new version logged in without any errors. Strange, IDK why this happened |
