Hello Sierra Chart Support, I'm interested in using Sierra Chart for trading CME futures (E-mini NQ and ES) and have a few questions about platform capabilities and pricing. What I need: Volume Profile tools (POC, Value Area, HVN/LVN) Large trade detection or block trade indicators Real-time data for CME futures My questions: Does Sierra Chart support these features natively, or do I need additional add-ons? What subscription plan would I need? (I saw the ~$36/month package mentioned) For CME futures data - what's the most affordable data feed option that works with Sierra Chart? I understand Denali is one option, but what would be the total monthly cost (platform + data)? Is there a trial period available so I can test the platform before committing? I'm working with a limited budget and want to make sure I'm choosing the most cost-effective setup for my needs. Any guidance on the best combination of services would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, DB |

These are all supported natively. What subscription plan would I need? (I saw the ~$36/month package mentioned)
In order to connect to data and trading services, you need to be on of the "Integrated" packages. Which exact package, depends on your charting needs. From the items mentioned, you would only need the "Standard" package. But refer to the following for the Integrated package descriptions and costs: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages For CME futures data - what's the most affordable data feed option that works with Sierra Chart?
If you are using Rithmic or Interactive Brokers for a broker, then you can get the data from them. Although the cost is typically the same as what our Denali Exchange Data Feed costs. For the exchange fees refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Supported Exchanges (Exchange Fees) Is there a trial period available so I can test the platform before committing?
You are already setup for a Trial. You are given 21 days of Usage Time where you have the full capabilities of the system, except that you can not connect to data or trading services. You are also only allowed a certain set of data. Refer to the following: Sierra Chart Trial Account And go through the items on this page to get started: Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

As noted above, in order to get real-time data for the exchanges on our Denali Exchange Data Feed (which includes the CME Group), you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. You also need to be on one of the Integrated packages to connect to trading services. Refer to the following: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages To setup a paid package, follow these instructions: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions In order to get the real-time CME Group data at the non-professional rates, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Once you work out the above, and you are on an Integrated package, then follow these instructions to setup the data for the CME Group: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* We also answered the question about the indicators in our original reply - these are all supported natively. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
