Write Bar and Study Data to File - Does not output a color bar on alert condition - inconsistency?

We are not seeing any issue with the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" information being written when using the "Write Bar and Study Data To File". We are getting the "Color Bar" and "Extension Lines" subgraphs showing in the file, where the "Color Bar" value is 1 when the condition is true and 0 when it is false. Make sure the Subgraph is not hidden. Also check the setting for "Include in Spreadsheet" - we are not sure if this would affect the "Write Bar and Study Data to File", but it might. Thanks John, I appreciate your help, Suppose I have a Write bar and study data to file whick is named "XYZ.CSV" and I have changed the settings / names of the subgrahs of some of the studies, does the existing csv file need to be deleted before I can expect to see new row headers etc ? hoping this will fix it, trying to share a chartbook with a friend but when his files are saving (using my chartbook) the old format XYZ.CSV is popping up versus what should be a different one. I can tell because when I open it the headers resemble the naming conventions of the old subgraph names for ex. Should I simply be reccomending he delete all the CSV files before he recalcalculating all charts again ? Best regards, L |

The headers will change if you change the name of a subgraph. We think this is due to a full recalculation call, but we do not know for sure. We did test, and the headers changed with a change in the name. hoping this will fix it, trying to share a chartbook with a friend but when his files are saving (using my chartbook) the old format XYZ.CSV is popping up versus what should be a different one. We do not understand why this would be the case. Double check the "Short Names" of the subgraphs and make sure they are set as you expect them to be. The headers in the Write Bar and Study Data to File should reflect those Short Names (if they exist). Okay, On another note - What settings do I need to look at to make sure that my file will be the same as his file ? Note we are using the same exact chartbook / same studies same evewrything yet we dont have same signals for CBOAC (sometimes). Is there a couple specific settings which usually contribute to the difference between the 2 users CSV files ? Note *he is on BST while I am on EST (if that makes a difference). After doing a full recalc it is still showing him the old format for the file saving. Many thanks, L |

We assume you are correcting for the time difference when comparing the data. The "Write Bar and Study Data" is going to have the times as they are shown in the chart that the study is applied to. Apart from the time zone, not having the same signals at the same bars would probably be about the setup for the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" or the Chart Settings, or the data itself (are you both using the same data?). There is most likely something different that causes the difference. In terms of the "old format" we would like to see the chart that they have setup. The "Chart >> Recalculate" option is per Chart.

That would do it. Sorry, we forgot that was there - we always think in terms of the Chart >> Recalculate. We have updated our previous post to not confuse anyone in the future.
