I am not getting any data in the NBCV2 Time Since Price Last Touched Bar High and Time Since Price Last Touched Bar Low subgraphs. A screen shot is attached. The vertical white line is the first new bar the subgraph should start being populated if I'm understanding correctly. I'm using a 4 Tick Range Bar (True). Please advise. Thanks! Mike

We are not seeing any issue with this functionality. We want to point out that the information will only be present for the bars that are added to the chart from when the Numbers Bars Calculated Values 2 study has been added to the chart. In other words, there is no historical information for this. Are you not seeing the information update for the current bar? Hi John - I had read in the doco about the non-historic nature of the data. The attached screen shot has been running since 8:30AM CT. So well over an hour. Still all zeros unfortunately. Thanks! Mike

We did test this on a 4 tick range chart, the same setup you had, and it worked fine for us. But, we are curious. Can you please try this with a time period chart (such as 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.). We are curious if it makes any difference in your case. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

No love sir. :) I checked with another SC user, and they have the same issue I do. He is on 2803. I am on 2801 but will update unless you say to wait. Thanks! Mike

We have tried this on version 2802 and 2804 and are not having any issues with either one. This functionality has not been touched since it was initially put into the system. What is "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Setttings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" set to? Both windows attached. 1 tick. I have another install on this PC. It is connected to Rithmic but it's using Denali. I verified by noting there is an [M] behind the contract name. I will try that also but need to wait for CME open. I'm writing an extract of SC DOM/Order Flow data to feed to AI for analysis purposes. I would never have thought to dig into NBCV2 otherwise. That study very well thought out. Thanks! Mike

Please get us that chart by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart Hopefully we can reproduce it with the chart itself and then figure out what is causing this. CME Open Update: neither of the above-mentioned connections is producing the expected data. Thanks! Mike

I just updated to v2804 and the data is populating. However the values are not good I think. The times from high or low are much longer than the bar duration. See attached. Thanks! Mike

It looks like it's accumulating time. Not resetting on a new bar. Thanks, Mike

We are not seeing any issue with your chartbook on our system. Are you running Sierra Chart in an emulator of some kind? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

No Sir on the emulator. What I meant above about accumulating time was that one point the "Time Since" this morning was at like 15 hours and change. Now I am back to zeros. I've attached the chartbook and a screen shot. Once again, the vertical lines are the new bar we would expect to see data. FWIW I also attached my recurring services for data services. (Side question. I do not use market depth. I do however use DOM data. I was with the understanding I needed Market Depth for the DOM. Is that correct or not? Thanks! Mike

John - I am going to install a fresh copy of SC, make no changes at all, hook to Denali, and I'll use the Example Chartbook to test. Works fine. Chart screen capture and data/trade service settings attached. I have multiple installs of SC I use every day. Each one has had the configuration files copied from the original install per the doco on transferring your system if that little tidbit helps. I assume then it has to be in my setup. We can not think of any reason why the settings would affect this. That calculation for the time since price touched high/low is fairly straightforward and doesn't depend on any settings. Still, we are curious, so please get us your "Sierra4.config" file, which is located in the main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart, but could be anywhere depending on where you put it). We'll try your chartbook with your settings and see if we can reproduce it. I have a smorgasbord. lol. I have attached a number to each for identification only. #1 - This is the install I just did to test. Never made any changes here. Everything works. #2 - This is the main install I use heavily. Using Rithmic in this one. All zeros in the study in this installation. #3 - This is my development install. Everything works here. Let me know if you need anything and have fun! Thanks, Mike |

The good news is that we were able to see the situation where the Time Since Price Touched High was not resetting with a new bar when we used your .config2 file and your chartbook. The bad news is that we only saw it once, and we have not been able to reproduce it since then. And we are not able to reproduce it in a development environment to debug it. This was done in Replay mode as the CME Group is currently closed, so we will try again tomorrow and see if we are able to reproduce it.
