Hi there - Information: 1. I only need Sierra Chart to see TPO + Market Profile 2. It must be real-time data 3. I am a non-professional 4. I execute trades via TradeStation, which I know is not a partner broker of Sierra Questions: 1. How do I best do this? 2. Which Package + Service Plan? 3. Can I do this without opening an account with another broker? If not, what is the best and most cost-effective way to do this? Thank you very much for your kind support! |

You will need Service Package 11: Description of Service Packages and Pricing What markets do you need data for or want to trade? For example, what particular futures, Forex or stock symbols. You can also give us the exchanges that the particular symbol or symbols trade on. If you require real-time futures data, then refer to: Is Historical and Real-time Data Included? Be sure to read the page linked above completely before making a further inquiry regarding real-time *futures* data. Even if you need to open an account, with a supported broker to get CME data at nonprofessional rates, this is an account which would only be $100, and it should not be too difficult to do. Answers: 1. Confirmed, I will need Service Package 11 - thank you 2. You asked which markets? To start, I will only trade the ES futures for real-time data. If/when I need any other real-time data, I will add on/upgrade at that time 3. Confirming that I read the real-time data page completely. 4. I only need real-time data for the ES. I am okay with the delayed data at no cost for all the other exchanges listed. 5. Confirming that I would like to see data (delayed is fine) for the following: for Commodities (Gold, Crude Oil, Nat Gas, Silver, Copper), for Currencies (USD, Euro, Pound, CAD, Yen, Aussie, Kiwi), for Crypto (BTC, ETH), for Bonds (30, 20, 10, 5, 2 years); and for ETFs and US Stocks Questions: 1. is the NYSE Arca included at no cost? My guess is the answer is "yes" since I believe the major ETFs are routed through Arca, but I only see "NYSE" listed on this page you sent me: Is Historical and Real-time Data Included? 2. to receive real-time data for the ES, is my only option to create and account and connect to one of the 4 partners you work with? (Interactive Brokers, Rithmic, Teton, CQG)? And then connect that to Denali? Sorry, I'm a little confused on this. My current broker (TradeStation) is not a partner, I recognize that. 3. do I need to go through Denali Exchange? If so, which specific Exchange and Exchange Fee am I looking at for what I need? Thank you very much! |

1. The NYSE Arca data is included with our U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape. This data will be delayed streaming data unless you pay for the real-time data. 2. To receive real-time data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect to that account at least once a month. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges Therefore, you are correct in that you would need to connect to one of the 4 possible options - Interactive Brokers, or brokers that support CQG, Rithmic, or Teton. 3. Since you can not connect your Sierra Chart to your Tradestation account, you do need to get the data from us. We can not say which exchange you would need, as we do not know whether you need Market Depth data or not. So if you are only needing real-time data for the ES, then you could do one of these two exchanges: - CME Non_Professional Top-of-Book - CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you. Please see my responses/clarifications and questions: 1. Thank you for confirming the NYSE Arca data is included 2. Confirmed, I will go this route of connecting once/month. 3. Yes, assuming "Market Depth" is the TPO/Market Profile, I will require Market Depth. Therefore the exchange I need is the: "CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" Important Question: If I only need to connect my live broker account to Sierra once/month, which broker should I go with? I read that some have better data than others as it relates to connecting to Sierra Chart? Or is that not true? Reminder: I only need live data for the ES but I do still need data (delayed is okay) for other Futures, Stocks and ETFs. I read that some (like Teton) don't offer charts for Stocks and ETFs. Unsure if that's true. I will follow your lead as to which broker. I am familiar with Interactive Brokers. I know they are very reputable. If that makes the most sense, please let me know and I will get signed up with them and proceed with Sierra. I greatly appreciate your support here. Thank you very much! |

3. The TPO/Market Profile does not require market depth data. The TPOs are built off actual trades. The Market Depth shows the limit orders on the DOM waiting to be filled. If I only need to connect my live broker account to Sierra once/month, which broker should I go with? I read that some have better data than others as it relates to connecting to Sierra Chart? Or is that not true?
We recommend reviewing the information at the following link, which gives a couple of options for brokers that require a minimum of cash on hand for this purpose: Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement Reminder: I only need live data for the ES but I do still need data (delayed is okay) for other Futures, Stocks and ETFs. I read that some (like Teton) don't offer charts for Stocks and ETFs. Unsure if that's true.
Since you will not be staying connected to the trading account you setup, it does not matter what broker or service you use. Most of the time, you will be connected to "SC Data" in which case you will get the real-time data for the CME Group exchanges you setup and you will get delayed streaming data for other exchanges that we have available (including U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape). Refer to the following for the instructions to connect once a month to your live trading account: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

John, thank you very much. Confirmed that I do not need Market Depth in this case. Looks like my exchange will be the $3/mo CME Non_Professional Top-of-Book I read your link but I am confused because here it says that I do not need to connect once/month. Please see the screenshot I've uploaded in the attached file. Can you please confirm whether or not I need to connect once/month? If the file does not properly attach, here is the copy & paste: These brokers/trading services will set you up on the Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Service. The advantage of this service is that it provides the industries best quality and most reliable order routing. It is also free! You do not have to connect once a month to this Trading service to authorize the real time CME data at the nonprofessional rates as Sierra Chart will automatically know that you are using it. This makes the solution easy. Afterwards, can you please confirm the following in total? 1. Stage 5 = I will open an acccount? 2. Service Package = sign up for Service Package 11? 3. Exchange = sign up for $3/mo CME Non_Professional Top-of-Book? 4. If I use Stage 5 trading, do I still need to sign up with Interactive Brokers and connect that to Sierra? 5. is there anything else I need to do? I will await your answer on the once/month and on these three. Thank you so much, John. |

If you are specifically setup on the "Teton Order Routing Service", then you do not need to go through the connection once a month. But if you use a different order routing service (CQG or Rithmic) or connect to Interactive Brokers, then you will need to go through the process. 1. That is fine. 2. Package 11 is good. 3. This is fine. 4. You do not need to setup an account with Interactive Brokers. The account with Stage 5 will work to satisfy the CME Group Non-Professional requirement. 5. Nothing else, apart from actually doing the setup. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John - I'm halfway there but ran into an issue with Sierra not recognizing my balance? Please see the attached screenshot. My balance was just $0.20 cents and I selected Service Package 11. I was prompted to make a payment of $46 which I did. But now it says I still have insufficient balance of $0.20 cents. Can you please help me with this, push this through? Also, now how do I go ahead and pay for the Exchange? I cannot find the link to actually PAY for this. Lastly, I signed up for Stage 5. I should be receiving confirmation from them within 24 hours. Sierra website said they will automatically link between Teton, so there's nothing else I'll have to do after that? Thank you! |

Hi John! It looks like my Service Package 11 is active and confirmed, right? Please see screenshot I should be fully approved with Stage 5 today and will fund that account with the $100 immediately. from Stage 5: Once the application is approved and account is funded we will get your Stage 5 account linked to your Sierra Chart user on their Teton order routing. You’ll then update your Data/Trade Service Settings to the info we give you and can then connect. It’s a very easy setup and we can help out if you run into any issues. My remaining question right now to you is, how exactly do I sign up for the Exchange$3/mo CME Non_Professional Top-of-Book? I can see it listed with all the other exchanges, but I cannot find out how to actually select and pay for it. Thank you! |

Ah I've found the page to purchase the exchange. If I only need LIVE DATA for the ES, I select #3, is that correct? Screenshot is attached. I will still have delayed data for everything under COMEX, NYMEX and CBOT under #3, I just won't have live data for that, correct? |

The "CME Non-Professional Top-of-Book" is all you need if you only need data for symbols traded on the CME exchange and you do not need Market Depth data (which you do not need for the TPO). Since this is your first time using the data for the CME Group from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, you will not be charged when you activate the exchange. You get the remainder of the month in which you activate the exchange for free. So you will not need to pay the $3.00 for the exchange fee until July 1, 2025. The data for the exchanges that make up the CME Group (CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX) will be delayed streaming data for your account. John, thank you. I just activated that exchange. Do you see that confirmed on your end? Am I all set until I receive confirmation from Stage 5? |

Yes, you have activated the exchange. You will not get any real-time data until you connect to your Stage 5 account once they have it setup. Follow the instructions at the following link starting at Step #6: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
