Hello,
I am having a problem is trading my APEX PA accounts on Sierra charts.

Late last week i had a trade on and hit flatten to close and the bracket order did not get canceled when i closed the trade.
Yesterday i was copy trading a group of 13 Apex PA accounts when i got stopped out 7 of the 13 kept treading and the accounts got blown without me even knowing there was an open trade on...

Just now i tried to close a trade with 3 accounts linked and it would not close. the charts also froze up and when it did close i was at a loss even though the chart had me at a profit....
I updated it this morning before i started trading.
My PC is up to date I have no clue what to do!!!!

This is due to connectivity issues with Rithmic. This is a general issue with Rithmic, and there is nothing we can do about it. The issue lies completely with Rithmic to solve, as they wrote and own the code for the connectivity between Sierra Chart and Rithmic.

Regarding the first post, what you need to do is stop using Rithmic. Do not use Rithmic. Makes completely no sense whatsoever.

Regarding the last post, do not involve Rithmic at all when copying trades. Otherwise you will have problems. It is that simple. It is unreliable. Completely unreliable. And it is not the fault of Sierra Chart. Using Rithmic makes no sense at all.

Good question, since all the prop firms use Rithmic servers.
I guess what SC support is trying to say is to not use any prop firm.

The support was right, this is a problem with Rhythmic not Sierra charts. I talke to some other i know and even some streamers were having the same problem. but seems to have been fixed. No problems no more

Rithmic is the only options for Apex with SC. I have been using prop firms for a while and this has happened a few times in the past. Usually resolved in a couple days.
There is a solution. Download Rithmic trader pro dashboard up showing window for open positions. If you have a problem closing a positing you can do it from the Rithmic dashboard, or at least i was able to......
Apex put a video on Apex discord regarding this.
There is a trick when on the login screen for Rithmic a setting needs changed so you can run Sierra and Rithmic pro at the same time. I am not on my trading computer and just about to catch a flight so i can not pull it up to give better description , sorry.

Hope this helps but in any case it is rare when this problem occurs thank goodness

Having Rithmic Trader Pro active while trading is a requirement by Apex.
This is mentioned in their Mandatory training requirement before trading course.
I assume you followed Apex rules and completed their user training before trading.

I use SC, the Denali data feed, and send the orders to Apex Rithmic servers.
Rithmic Trader is always running.
So I can see my open orders and position in case I need to perform emergency exits.
I also have a battery backup in case of a power outage.

@Ticks

Guys allow me this much
(I am trader and trading is my only source of income)

I am trying to understand SC users using anything else but sheer brilliance of data feed/execution of DENALI/TETON created by SIERRA CHART team
The Code they created to handle trades on CME (sorting/declaring "aggressive" nature of those) is unmatched in this business
For that reason only I totally switched trading stocks/options (tradestation; 15 years) for trading futures (AMP)
Of course your personal reasons led you to prop firms (I never attached myself to that) and I feel very lucky to have them as many as possible because they making my trading so sweet and profitable
If you are serious in this business do everything you can to stick to marvel of technology (DENALI/TETON/unmatched SC pricing) even if you have to change your trading domain as I did
I assure you that SIERRA CHART is not having me on their salary
All this said is my personal take and I never meant to talk down or teach/preach anyone
In the end to tell you guys how much I admire SIERRA CHART allow me: I can't stand their political/philosophical/life take expressed by STICKY NOTES on the top but for DENALI/TETON I can endure everything
All the best stay safe
(hoping SC won't get mad at me)

I agree with everything you said about SC and DENALI data feed. We are lucky to have it and that it connects t so many different source.
I to am a full time trade with 15 years under my belt and a 7 figure account to trade from, but i started trading prop firms this year because someone is willing to pay me for my trading stats. Hence the reason when we get a payout it is a independent market analyst, Not actually True Prop firm traders. (Less you get live with Topstep)
Why do i use Prop firms like APEX FUNDED TRADERS, Because for example this month I took $19550 is payouts with no risk to my own capital and very low investment expense and a heck of a lot less stress. Hard to beet that
BTW if you trade with APEX You can use my PROMO CODE "LOGAN" this will get you the absolute cheapest prices they offer on Eval accounts.
Good luck everyone! One piece of advice, Don't trade just for the sake of been busy when you are in front of the charts. Limit yourself to 1 or 2 MAX day trades a day. Within a few weeks this will change you from reacting to price action and just taking trades to anticipating price action and waiting for the best setups!
This can be life changing if you do this!!!!!
