Good morning, I'm trying to use a 240-minute chart with a weekly Volume Profile at 1-tick resolution and 256 days of intraday data loaded, but the chart becomes very slow when moving it or using drawing tools on it. The Sierra Chart instance also has 7 additional charts with 1-tick resolution for intraday charts, and those do not show any problems. Sierra Chart is not fully using the system resources - both CPU and GPU are underutilized. What can I do to fix the lag without losing the 1-tick resolution? Thanks in advance, |

It sounds like you have the data displayed at a very tight bar spacing, such that you are viewing a lot of bars on the chart at one time. When you do this, the ability to move the chart can be more difficult, due to some of the movement options being setup to move by a certain number of bars. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Scroll Multiplier (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Scroll) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

It’s not that the scrolling is slow; the window containing the 240-minute chart takes about 10 seconds to respond to any interaction, whether it’s opening menus or moving the chart.
