My M6B chart will not load. I get the 0.0 loading window, but the screen freezes, and I cannot click on Edit.

All of my other chartbooks load correctly.

When I try to open a new M6B (March), it will not load either.

The first thing we want to point out is that it appears you are connecting to an account using the Teton Order Routing service. But you have not activated any exchanges for the CME Group with our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Therefore, you are not setup to get any real-time data. You need to activate the exchange(s) for the CME Group for which you want real-time data at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges

But, you should be getting delayed streaming data for M6B. What is the symbol as you have entered it in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol"?

John, thanks I have activated the data feed. It now reads DF:12, ST:1 BR:1175

M6BH26

It is now stuck at 5.8%.

Plus now, every chartbook freezes when attempting to open the chartbook.

What is the exact symbol as you have it in "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol"?

And what is "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to?

And please get us an image of what you are seeing that is showing 5.8%.

It is set to Teton.

I cannot access chart settings in any chartbook because it freezes and crashes.

The 5.8 disappeared after the last crash; now it is on Loading 0.0
And it just sits like that. If I click anywhere on the chart it just locks up in a freeze.

We need to understand what you mean by this exactly:

I cannot access chart settings in any chartbook because it freezes and crashes.
Is it just a case where Sierra Chart is in a frozen inoperable state? Or does it abnormally shut down.

If it is in a frozen inoperable state, then refer to:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.16 - What to do if Sierra Chart is in a frozen state for an extended time due to extended high CPU usage caused by an automatically or manually opened Chartbook

We want you to delete the chart data file, for this symbol:
My M6B chart will not load.

I am going to do my absolute best to describe the overall problem, but first a question: Am I to use Teton CME Routing in my service list under Global Trading services?

I am using an SSD with 1.73 TB free memory.

I have 4 chartbooks: gold, oil, gbp, and corn.

I can open gold and corn.

When I try to open gbp or oil, the charts do not open and the system freezes when I touch any key on my keyboard. The cpu usage is nil and not overloaded.

I noticed an error when trying to open oil in the data log: historical data for m6bh26 is delayed because connection to main data feed in not present. current data will be received upon connection.

My internet connection is about 450 mbps.

thanks

We do not know, it depends on your broker and how they have you setup. Do you know if your broker has specifically set you up to use Teton for your order routing, or if they have you setup on a different service, such as Rithmic or CQG?

Most likely you are correct in your setup with Teton, as you would be getting an error message stating "No Trading Accounts Assigned" if this were incorrect. But if you are not certain, then you should check with your broker.

historical data for m6bh26 is delayed because connection to main data feed in not present. current data will be received upon connection.

Generally, this is just a timing issue and can be ignored. This is definitely not related to the issues you are currently having.

I believe I have correctly uploaded two charts:

M6B
Oil

I do not see any attachment icon but when I click the attached files I do see the two charts

We are not having any issues with the chartbooks you uploaded. So we are not certain of what is occurring.

But a couple of items of note:
- The first chart labeled "Daily" in the "M6B" chart is set to be an Intraday chart. So the bars are being developed from the Intraday data. And you have it set to load 365 days of data. This is a fair amount of data, and it can take a bit to load depending on your system.
- In the "Oil" chartbook, the last chart labeled as "TPO_Hourly" has a symbol of M6BH26_FUT_CME. We think you want a CL symbol, not M6B in this case.

As we mentioned in our previous post - please update to the latest release by following these instructions:
Software Download: Fast Update

If that does not resolve the issue, then try starting Sierra Chart in "Safe Mode" and see if you have the same issue opening the charts in Safe Mode. Refer to the following for how to use Safe Mode:

Let us know what occurs.

I deleted all charts in Sierra and rebooted my computer to start fresh.

I reloaded a basic M6B chart.

I created a simple footprint chart.

And now the price does not seem to move smoothly, creating gaps in the footprint.

I have attached the chartbook.

The chart I am referring to is titled footprint_delta.

If you look around the 1215 time marker, there is a ton of spacing in the footprint candles that is missing price data.
