Hi team Support, I would like to switch the SC to be run on a new system/desktop. What is the process to enable the new system? Need trading + data enabled as usual. I want to see market depth on the new machine only (which I do currently on my old machine) and don't want to pay double mkt data fees. Regards, Cyrus |

There is nothing special to use Sierra Chart on a new machine. The only "trick" is that with the way you are setup, you can only get the real-time Denali data to one computer at a time. So if you are running Sierra Chart on both computers simultaneously, then one will get the real-time data and the other will get our delayed data, or no data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the following regarding this: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously In terms of moving your Sierra Chart information from one computer to the other, refer to the information on the following page. It is up to you as to what method works best for you, so look through the options and pick one and follow those instructions. I guess i can just close the SC on the old one, restart the SC on the new one and then start the old computer SC again. Let me try that and get back with the outcome. If that works, we are all good. Just don't want to pay for data on 2 machines when I am using only 1 for the data. Cyrus |

If you do not want/need real-time data on the "old machine", then set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" to "No". Then select OK to close that window and then select "File >> Reconnect". This will then prevent that installation from trying to get real-time data. If you are connected to a Sierra Chart service (i.e. "SC Data" or the "Trading Evaluator - Delayed") then you will get the delayed streaming data to that system. This way it will not interfere with your "new machine" and you do not need to worry about which one started first.
