I have been usisng sierra charts and I want to trade NQ Futures. I believe I am connected to the Denali Datafeed. However When I look at my chart screen, it says "delayed" at the top....why is my data feed delayed?? I have service package 10, I thought that gave me Denali real time data feed? Your assistance is appreciated

We see that you have activated the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" since you posted this thread. So you should be fine now.

We are curious why you thought that the package included the data. We get this occasionally, and we have updated our documentation to make sure this is as clear as possible. But if we missed something, then please let us know.

I have the same problem. I’ve already paid for the CME data feed, but I can’t activate it for some unclear reason. Could you please help me?

RomanCz:

You are on the "Base Advanced" package. In order to be able to get real-time data and to connect to trading services, you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Refer to the information on the packages at the following link:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages

To change your package, follow these instructions:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Changing Package

Also, you have not properly filled out the information for the exchange agreements. In order to get real-time data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect to that trading account at least once a month for verification. Refer to the following:

Prop firms do not count towards the CME Non-Professional requirement.

You can use the Rithmic data in Sierra Chart, but be aware that there is a lack of historical data with Rithmic. If you need historical data, then we really recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed and setting up an account with a broker that will allow you to qualify for the CME Group's Non-Professional requirement.
