Hi,

Am currently using CQG data. And sometimes it has data losses like in the attached photo.

Sometimes a time of say 10minutes worth of data isn't loaded.

I tried delete all data and download but its not fixing the issues.

I am currently using an evaluation account tied to CQG so I am not sure if subscribing to another data feed helps.

Any advice?

First, we want to point out that you are not using CQG data. You are getting the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. We do not support data from CQG for The CME Group and EUREX.

If there is a problem with the data, then typically redownloading it will resolve it.

According to our servers, you are currently connected to "SC Data" and not to CQG. Keep in mind that each service uses a different set of symbols, so you need to update the symbols when you change services. We wonder if you have the wrong symbols for the service you are currently connected to.

We need another image of your chart where we can see the entire chart, including the scales and we need to know the service you are connected to at the time of the image. Follow these instructions exactly, to get us another image:

Yes I have just subscribed like few hours ago.

Can I check if this settings is correct? (see attached)

Am I getting data from Denali Exchange Data Feed while using CQG account to trade?

The setting you need to check is the following, and it needs to be set to "Yes":
Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings)

As we stated above, we do not have support for CQG data for the CME Group and EUREX, so if you were not getting the data from us, then you would not get any data all. So if you are getting data for these exchanges while connected to CQG, then you are setup properly with our Denali Exchange Data Feed.

Are you still having an issue with bad data in the charts? If so, then follow these instructions:
Data Errors or Spikes in Charts, Flat or Flat Line Graph, Compressed Graph, Errors with Date/Time Values: 2.1.2 Deleting and Re-downloading Data. (Easier and Recommended Method)

So is my current data feed subscription redundant? Because I didn't subscribe to any data previously on SC and I did receive data, just some bad data here and there.

Currently not experiencing any bad data.

It is not possible that you were getting data while connected to CQG for the CME Group. We do not have support for this. If you were connected to SC Data, then you would have been getting the Delayed Streaming data from us.

Therefore, what you have currently is not redundant. But, if you are setup to get data from CQG, and you do not use that data for any other systems, then you can let your broker know that you do not want to pay for the CQG data.
