Chart Live data lagging behind

Hi, I am in Alberta Canada. My computer time is synced and correct. I am exactly 2 hours behind Newyork time. But chart live data is lagging behind at least 1-2 minutes. Please give me step by step instructions so that I can fix it. Thank you. First make sure your computer's clock is set accurately: Incorrect Date and/or Time Display, Missing Historical Intraday Data, Chart Not Updating Computer clock is set accurately. And then add the Data Delay chart header field: Working With Charts: Region Data Line / Chart Header Second step, What do I exactly do or add here? Thank you |

For the Chart Header there is an item named "Data Delay". Add this to the Chart Header and make sure it is in a position that you will be able to view it. Once that is on the chart, then tell us what it shows (the item is prefixed with "DD:". This gives the difference between your computer clock and the timestamps of the data. Tell us what it shows. This kind of fluctuation is going to imply a latency in your Internet connection to the data feed. This is not something we can help with in general. But, we do have the ability for you to do some troubleshooting of this with Sierra Chart. I will try to do the trouble shooting and get back to you. Thankyou. Another question: I have a Williams Fractal showing as Diamonds at Support and Resistance on my chart. I also have Swing High & low ongoing DASH Line. I want to add/attach Price on Diamond and on Swing High low. How do I accomplish this. Attached image no.1 shows my Chart as it is now. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1724964636808.png To Copy from Below Chart Image. Attached Image no.2 shows navy blue price numbers on Aqua Diamonds and price numbers attached to Green, Aqua Swing Highs & lows. This is what I want to ADD /Copy to my chart. Thank you K.A |
